In the last munimuni e-mail newsletter, which has announcements more than their website, Canou Matenrou mentioned that they are in the middle of recording a 5 track album that will be out in 2024:

I’ve been waiting for a few years now, so I can endure a few more months… 
Let’s hope it’ll actually be out in early 2024.
They surely could release a proper 10-15 song album with the amount of new songs they’ve been building up these past few years.

The new album will be out in September or October and is called “The Moonlight Party” which is the title they’ve been using for their concerts this year. As hinted at last year, this will be a 5 Song album.

Hopefully they’ll record a few more tracks on the side so that they can release another one next year too, they have the numbers (in unreleased songs I mean)!

The band with the ultimate cool face and sound
The long-awaited new album “THE MOONLIGHT PARTY” by “MUNIMUNI”…
The album includes “HEI” 1~4, a series of songs made after TAIZER joined the band, and the most important song “JIGOKU”… This album, titled “5 Songs Album,” may seem somewhat compact, but it is full of sinful gentleness with an exquisite sense of time that makes it easy for busy people to listen to it slowly.
The previous album was directed almost exclusively by Kanou (Vo/Gu), but this album is the result of the collaboration between Kanou and TAIZER, and you cannot help but feel a new atmosphere… The recording location was also a fresh start. The recording was done at the prestigious “PLUS+FACTOR STUDIO” (Musashi Koganei Station on the Chuo Line), and the ideas spilling out of the rock ‘n’ roll sound foretell of a new era to come…
The guest artists on this album are also gorgeous: aie (the god and death stars / gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy / deadman), Shinpei Mörishige (Palastleben), and Wataru (DIE-QUÄR) on “Breath”… The band’s first release in six years.
This is the band’s first release in 6 years… The scene was shaken by the appearance of the historical masterpiece on a rather expensive CD for the whole stagflation generation… (From the artist’s comment)

顔面とサウンドが究極にかっこいいバンド
『MUNIMUNI』による待望の新作『THE MOONLIGHT PARTY』・・・。
新メンバーにギタリスト『TAIZER』を迎え制作された渾身の一枚・・・。TAIZER加入後に作られた連作「『HEI』1~4」、最重要ソング「地獄」を収録・・・。「5ソングスアルバム」と題して発表される今作はいささかコンパクトに感じるかも知れないが、忙しい人にもじっくり聴きやすい絶妙のタイム感に罪深きやさしさが溢れて居る・・・。
前作まではディレクションをほぼ「加納(ボ/ギ)」のみで行っていたが、本作品は「加納とTAIZER」二人で行った成果が遺憾なく発揮され今までにはない空気感を感じずには居られないだろう・・・。レコーディング場所も心機一転。名門「PLUS+FACTOR STUDIO(中央線武蔵小金井駅)」にて録音され、ロックンロールから零れ落ちるアイデアが新しい時代の到来を予感させる・・・。

The album may seem somewhat compact and the price rather expensive, but I, for one, welcome this historical masterpiece and am ready to be shaken by its appearance. 
Deliver us from this generation of stagflation, Canou.
Canou is always referencing VK and 80’s rock visuals and titles (X, Boowy, Luna Sea, D’erlanger etc). This cover looks like he’s evoking Eikichi Yawaza’s Goldrush:
