I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but after more than 14 years in the community, including nearly five years on JROCK ONE, I’ve decided it’s time for me to step away from my activities here.
This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. Some time ago, after some conversations with both older community members and more recent departures, an opportunity came up to create a space of my own. At first, I wasn’t sure how viable it would be or whether I could sustain it long-term, but after about a month of activity, I feel more confident that it’s something I can stick with for the long haul. Even knowing it would mean stepping back from being active here, I’ve found the whole process ultimately quite rewarding albeit a bit frustrating at times.
I’m not going to take the time to namedrop what I’m doing, not only is it against the rules, but it wouldn’t sit well with me. I have nothing but appreciation for JROCK ONE and the communities that have come before. However, if you are interested, you can find me on Discord.
