Good for them. Hope they make enough to even cover the fees to get in the country.

remember when they’d disbanded from mental health or something? i’m glad they stuck it out, they seem way ambitious

Awesome news, I’m happy for my American peeps~ :sunglasses:

Its on a Monday of all days but might be worth skipping work for this !

Just over a week away~!

Anyone else here going? I hope the turnout is okay, I’ve hardly seen anyone talking about going to the show on twitter. It feels like maybe some people aren’t willing to make the drive from LA to SD? I’m driving from the OC so it’s a bit easier I guess.

On the other hand, less turnout makes it easier for me to get barrier

Planning to attend with the CEO of vk.gy.

If you find us we’ll give you an exclusive vkgy sticker!

Oh sweet! How will I identify you guys?

I’m actually thinking of making some commemorative stickers for the band as a gift, I might make some extras and give them out to other fans as well

Heads up, no merch at the San Diego show except for chekis

Hi! Unfortunately there will not be any merch for the American performance as it’s only one performance. However, we will be selling member chekis taken the day of the show as well as two shot chekis wih your selected member after the show! :100::slightly_smiling_face:

That is good news! I was hoping to get a pic with a member w/o having to buy the VIP.

All of my videos are in Instagram. I’ll post them to twitter later.

The show was pretty great, even if there was quite a delay with showtime and the VIP.

Definitely more of a fan now.

I was worried with the delay that they would cut the show short a bit, but they didn’t! They played probably almost 2 hours with a bunch of songs they didn’t play earlier on the tour.

Setlist: x.com

I was worried turnout might be low because the last vk san diego show was pretty small, but I think we had a good sized crowd. I estimated somewhere between 50-100? But I’m not great with numbers. It felt like everyone was super into it.

We celebrated Issei’s birthday with him and he got a cake and a birthday sash that he wore on stage and for the rest of the night. He said he wants us to elect him the next president of America and then did his best Terminator impression :joy:

Mio came up against the barrier a few times during the show and was really enjoying everyone’s energy. He sang the unplugged version of Meari alone by himself on the stage and it was a moving performance. After the last song he sat at the front of the stage and just took everything in and interacted with people for a minute. It looked like he had a really good time. He also made sure people were all hydrated before he left :joy:

Yoh was jumping around and interacting with the crowd a lot. He loved coming to center stage whenever he had the chance. His guitar solos were all crazy and fun to watch.

I didn’t see Uta as much because he was on the far side, but it looked like he was giving his side a lot of love. I caught a few good moments when he came over and he was very cute, waving and smiling at us.

They were all hanging around at the merch table after the show for people to take 2shots and whatnot. When I bought my random cheki I asked Mio to pick them for me, his luck was not any better than mine :joy: Some people had wild poses for 2shots, and the guys seemed enthusiastic about it.

The after party was fun, all the guys were super approachable and easy to talk to, even with my bad Japanese.

Yeah, I gotta talk to the organizer about finding more venues in LA. I’m sure we could find some that would be happy to host a band like Nazare. I was trying to promote the show all month, and more than half the people said “that’s a far drive for a work/school night”
And they were right. I didn’t get home til 5am. It was not a good move for a work night lol

I wish we could get more vk shows in Orange County. I feel like its a sweet spot between ‘close to LA’ and ‘easy to park/get around’. ACME coming to the Wayfarer was awesome. I’d like to see JILUKA at the Observatory or something like that.
