Listening to the previews on iTunes rn, it’s certainly cute, but shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
I’m pretty sure that this is another parody band, but with a cute style in both visuals and music genre.
In full honesty, the music itself is not that bad, but Kevin could work on his vocal projection. He does not have a lot of power in his voice, which the music could definitely use. I feel like if he were to improve his volume and projection, the songs would sound better instantly. I would describe it as “missing” some energy in vocals for the vibe the songs try to have.
I hope this band will see a lot of improvements. There are plenty of other bands with kinda “meh” music in the very beginning, who make drastic improvements in a few years. Let’s see how these guys do in the future.
I’m usually a very optimistic person regarding artists, as I know that artistic skills do not develop overnight. And sometimes you just need to find your genre or medium, not everything is for everyone. There is no saying how every band will change over time, you just have to see. Plenty of bandmen suddenly change their whole genre from one band to another lol
My gut feeling is that we have more brootal serious bands in the scene, so maybe they wanted to try something more light hearted kirakira-ish to stand out.
The first song from the single is quite catchy. Honestly, I could see them making a song like this as an opening for an anime.
There are people who learned to paint with their feet. Pretty sure he perfekted this skill and it’s not much of a problem at this point. The other band members choose him for the band. So they are also convimced that he got this covered.
