I was expecting him to form another band with kuro, but this is good enough!

TaJI claims that “From here on out, I want to make all my unfulfilled dreams come true.”
This may include things he’s discussed in the past such as live shows in Europe or a performance in Nippon Budokan.
I’m a bit bummed on KuRo’s absence after their 12-year long band history together though, including Black September. TaJI makes for my favourite composer of this whole scene, and the former my favourite vocalist. Sucks to have the two split apart..
But this formerly non-vkei(?) vocalist sounds quite good as well, at least. Definitely very popular anyway, his Tiktok has 500k+ followers.

It’s clear that TaJI wanted to continue with Rides In ReVellion.
To be honest, I feel so bad for TaJI.. is he really going to chuck all those dozens of ReVellion songs he worked so hard to compose into the bin? 
One of the Rides members even tweeted after the disbandment that at the time of releasing Shooting the MOON and the ONEMAN tour, they hadn’t even considered breaking up. It came so suddenly, following just after those decisions.
Some of the lyrics in this very first MV song feel directed towards TaJI himself.
“Even if the whole world is against you” sounds like what TaJI is going through.
TaJI even just made a recent tweet saying he knows fans must be feeling anxious about all the changes. And he’s sure that some people will inevitably move away from him now. But Lento Oga seems to be singing about having overlapping feelings with him, even in such a dire situation.
He honestly seems like such a good match to TaJI’s new style of song compositions as opposed to the older RIR, which had more traditional vkei edge instead. Even without Kuro, I’m glad to finally feel comfortable looking forward to more of their music!
this is 100% a RiR leftover so for now I think it’s hard to judge what we should expect from this band. In any case, I’m in!
I’m pretty sure RiR disbanded mainly because they simply stagnated in size/popularity. It’s easier to form a new band and hope for a breakthrough than taking a 10 year old one and push through the mud to reach a new audience…
Maybe the vocalist’s fan base will give them the head start they need
