Nightmare Announce European Tour January, 2025

This reminds me. When they did their Taiwan concert, in an interview they said something like “with this concert and the Tenka Saiboso, we’re already considering it as the start of our 25th anniversary activities”. Which could imply that they are planning more tour locations and Taiwan was just the earliest part of it. So hopefully an American leg is announced since going to another state is much more convenient than across the pond

I’m hoping for you guys, too! However, they have an extremely short window just before their 47 prefecture tour, which starts March 15 and leaves basically no space until September :face_exhaling: Hopefully, there’s a possibility of squeezing one more before the local tour, though their schedule is quite insane as it is. Or even after, if things go smoothly!

I guess that was somehow the case for me, too, it was always the Sendai Kamotsu stuff making a bigger impression, and that was before I really got into them now, more recently. I empathise really!

I think they’re the kind of band that has to grow onto you rather than impress you from the outright. Their catchiness makes it easy to learn songs at least! But sometimes they’ll sneak a little something that really surprises me.

(this is all coming from a very biased fan of course, but yes )

please tell me it is not totally pathetic to fly to another country to attend a nightmare concert alone

No it’s not! Do what makes you happy if you can afford it.

Never cared much for this band (mainly due to Yomi’s uhhh performance), but ofc I’ll be in Budapest to support the scene. :sunglasses: Great sounding venue too, which is a nice bonus.

Not at all? If you have the money and time to spare, go for it.

That’s why my wife travels with me to such countries  Spending a couple of days alone would be boring to me, so with her it’s more fun

Not at all. At least I hope so since I am currently planning on going to Japan alone to run after Kamijo for two weeks :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yomi’s done much better lately to be fair. He suffers from inconsistency but that inconsistency is diminishing. Their MCs are always very entertaining too!

If it is we’re both pathetic :joy: I’ll be doing the same

When i got into the scene Nightmare was a joke because of Yomi’s dysphonia. Wonder what it was like in the days everyone liked them :joy: though their reception these days have improved a lot which makes me glad.

I initially liked Nightmare a lot because of how “different” they were compared to the music I grew up with (Mexican regional and Taylor Swift, Shakira, and Big Bang). In relation to VKei they definitely have a presence but they are not particularly unique at least anymore. They have great stage presence and very entertaining MCs. So it’s more a personality thing for me.

See that’s how I always felt. They weren’t bad, they were just somehow so incredibly middle of the road 00’s vkei that everything I heard from them just blurred into a samey mess in my head. But my god people loved them so much. Who knows, maybe I will discover the magic too before the live :grinning:

They know their international fame is mainly because of Death Note they’ll probably play The World at every concert. Same with Alumina, and maybe Raison D’etre.

London is my first choice to go see them ! London then train to Paris but that’s expensive so idk still. Germany has 3 shows so maybe there. It’s all confusing for me since I’ve never been to Europe. And it seems like a waste to take time off of work, travel to another continent just to see them once.

Never thought my first trip to Europe would be for Nightmare

If you book early you can get the train ticket for about 60 bucks I think so it’s not bad imo :woman_shrugging:

Right but the cost of the stay not to mention the flight costs themselves. Hotels, and food. Money for merch as well.

The lives in germany are also not super close and train can be expensive if you don’t book early. But if you decide to do it, I will be happy to help with getting train tickets. There are also busses between most big cities.
