shrug it bears repeating, sorry for being very disappointed they went from my top5 to a lifeless band whose entire plan is to try and harvest some money from the western audiences. Unfortunately they’re no Crystal Lake, though.
Hiro’s vocals have just gotten worse and worse. I did enjoy a couple of songs from UNLEASH but everything after that has been really forgettable for me.
I like the song
How about you do your blood pressure a favor and just ignore the Nokubura threads. I understand that it can be frustrating if your favorite band takes a turn you dont like, but at one point all you do is throw hate out against them and ruin it for others who still like them.
Unless, you want everyone to hate them now, that is…
I like the song more toward the end. The beginning part is the typical deathcoreish stuff. I would like to see the melodic styles/clean vocals made a come back somewhere.
The title song really got me. Great release
My apologies, I didn’t know I couldn’t express reasoned opinions on a band’s music in a forum that focuses on music. My bad, I’ll certainly keep my opinion for myself from now on
Lets not forget these dudes conned their 2 super-guitarists that made the band stand out from generic shitcore
So many mixed reviews here, but I was personally well impressed with the new single.
Eventhough I feel like Hiro’s vocal performance could have been better, I still find the new song solid. I enyojed the heck out of Unleash and Wasteland, so I wonder what kind of direction they’ll push towards.
This is much better than their recent output, that’s for sure. Ain’t no DESPERATE or Bury Me, but super listenable. Renewed my interest on them.
Finally, someone said it. Haha.
I don’t get why people keep jumping on those who aren’t impressed with the newer stuff, like seriously they arent half as good as they used to be. I mean I still think they’re alright but alright is all they are now, they had some amazing releases and plenty of real bangers and the new releases just don’t compare. I’ll still get the albums/mini’s and support them but my interest and hype for then now have waned a lot. + Allow people to speak their opinions ya know? Just because someone doesn’t just hype up and love everything a band does it doesn’t mean they can’t say it. Or is that the society we’re in now “you don’t agree with us so you must stay silent” hmmmm… hahaha. And if this become a place like that then I’m out.
Fuck those fuckers. Just say what you feel, your opinion isn’t any less valid than anyone else’s.
JRO is a place where others can share their opinions freely. That has not changed. Hell, I’m in the boat where I think their old stuff up until ZeTeS was great and better than their new stuff. But saying “fuck those fuckers” is needlessly inflammatory and is only going to cause this thread to devolve into chaos. No one wants to be insulted over their preference in NB. Let’s try to keep the insults to a minimum in the future.
Yutaro’'s second song for Nokubura (or the second one we are aware)
I like the song, it’s stable. Not a huge fan of hiros clean vocals.
Or maybe it’s the mix of screaming vocals and clean vocals, i do not like, as i do not mind his vocals in “feel myself alive”
We had some talk on discord why his clean vocals changed, and @MorteSilenz mentioned that according to Hiro it has to do with him getting buff.
(Google said it could be true
)

I like them, but a live album after they released a dvd from the same live? That feels quite like milking fans.
I see the beginning songs are the same as the DVD playlist, but not all songs seems to be the same. (Did i get that right?)
Hmm i kinda wonder if the audio for online lives without audience is better than from a normal live with audience?
Live albums are not that common even, are they?
So it kinda cool and kinda meh 🤷
really, Special Onlive Live album is such a weak title for an live album. You can’t get much more uninspired than that.
After all these new releases I came to appreciate old Nokubura much more.
I miss Cazqui
It’s literally just the title of the show, like almost all DVD releases. It’s less about creating a cool title, and more about letting people know which show they’re listening too. (I agree it’s about as boring as you can get though XD)
