I have been following his twitter before I even knew who he was simply due to the shock factor of it. I definitely believe that he has severe mental issues, and his career definitely doesn’t help. I’ve noticed that within the vkei community, both artists and listeners, mental illness is prevalent. I cannot pinpoint a cause, but his is definitely a severe case; his career is also certainly enabling him. As much as I love Mejibray and their music, it would be beneficial for him to retire for his own safety

Slightly off topic, but
I guess a big reason for this is that people who struggle with mental health tend to feel attracted to subcultures like VK because the fanbase and musicians are more willing to accept people who don’t fit in perfectly in the society. They meet like-minded people there and don’t need to adjust.
And the “not fitting in” issue is probably an even bigger problem in japan than in lots of other countries.

That makes sense now! I know that I have some issues myself, and this genre has made me feel better about it, knowing that there are people like me. With that in mind, though, it can also host some issues with people either consciously or unconsciously enabling each other

It was in a video mia posted on his youtube channel a year and a half ago. 2/3d of it is him, meji’s ex-manager and an ex-assistant talking shit about tzk. The manager was telling how one night he was holding him by the collar above the barricade of a bridge because they had a fight, and while he was saying that, mia sayed while laughing that « it would have been nice if he had let hime drop » or something like that. There is lots of other ill stuff sayed against him but yeah.
Anyway, it’s funny to me how mia still tries to benefit from meji, and thought it was a great idea to make an almost 30 minutes long video just to bad-mouth tzk (they didnt talk about koi or meto), whereas, wether people like it or not, all the other members have moved on and have their own brand new projects.
