this would explain the… very extensive facial work, but aren’t hosts supposed to be socially present and more or less pleasant conversationally, which doesn’t seem like the case here?

I’m not being remotely snarky, it’s a hella terrifying spiral from someone who seemed to have it all under control after mejibray split up and could seemingly only move up from there.
Unless one of us knows MiA personally I don’t think we will ever truly know whether it’s drugs, mental illness or something else entirely.
As of right now everything is purely speculation.
But based on what I’ve seen him post on Twitter it does seem to be a rather sudden decline (if I can use that word,) and I think we have the right to be concerned.
I never followed Mejibray closely nor any of his current support work but I do think as a guitarist he’s got talent and it’s sad to see anyone make such impulsive decisions that they’re most likely going to regret in the future.
Hopefully he stops before he does anything to endanger himself.

I agree he used to be my idol because of his impressive guitar skils. Sadly, i cant say that anymore. But he is still very talented.

He owns businesses lol why do people assume they have any idea what total strangers are doing with their lives? Like it’s fine to wonder but to straight up say someone you don’t know doesn’t have a job is so weird.

To be fair, he has made tweets referencing past and current businesses that he was involved in, with one being a themed cafe. Now, how he got the money to invest, I don’t know.
People have speculated in the past that it may have been family money, but he also gave an interview recently that (if telling the truth), makes that seem really unlikely. He states that his parents were teenagers and had to live with his mother’s parents while raising him, but mainly ignored him anyways.
