It’s not bad but it’s also not like, new. Every metalcore band that was active between 2003-2008 wrote this song at least once. They’re good musicians and I’m curious to see where they go, they just need to expand as songwriters imo.
That said though, it at least feels sincere, and in that way it’s able to tickle a particular itch that hasn’t been satisfied in quite a while
