Pepsi VS Coca Cola and Psychological Phenomeni

I prefer Pepsi over Coca-Cola.
But this is probably only because I am more used to Coca-Cola and drink it on a weekly basis, and almost never Pepsi.
This is why Pepsi tastes refreshing and new to me when I drink it.
It is an interesting psychological effect.
Maybe, actually, probably, if I’d drink Pepsi daily, and Coca Cola once a month, I would prefer CC.
That’s how the human mind works.
Also, I only drink C-C Zero, and barely and sugary Coke due dieting reason’s.
Even though I talked about Cola here, let’s talk about your similar experiences with common psychological phenomeni.

coke is bad for u, drink water

I prefer Coke and only drink pepsi if they don’t have coke at a restaurant when I have a creaving for cola. Why would you drink coke that often when you prefer pepsi? Is that a phenomenon or do just like pepsi better?

I don’t agree on that.
Or I’m just not human.
Aside from not liking the taste of Pepsi but having Coke on a daily base, everything new most of the times ain’t as good as what I’m used to.

What I experienced is that drinking something on a daily base and then going off it for like a week or more it tastes more intense when drinking it again. That’s how it is for me at least. But I don’t think that’s just something psychological but rather about sensitivity.

Pepsi tastes like crap, coca cola tastes 0.1% less crap. Then theres Dr Pepper, how did we, as humans, manage to make a drink that tastes like liquid smoked sausage? Offensive & tragic.

Once you taste Guaraná everything else is trash. (Guaraná mineiro above all)

i have an unhealthy love of diet dr pepper and diet coke. once i consumed 48 cans in 2 weeks (by once i mean for 4-5 months).

now i consume like 2-3 cans a week because as I Get Older, my body says No.

in addition i also drink a ton of water. am i healthy? probably not

also the blue gatorade is superior and the most healing gatorade. red is most superior for refreshing, but blue is used for speedrunning sickness

Coke is a Man’s Drink. When I drink soda, I want to feel the bubbles detonating in my mouth. Pepsi comes piped straight from the tranquil waters of Lake Diabeetus. Too sweet for me. I need my tongue to be assaulted by acid while I choke down the soda, convincing myself it’s refreshing the entire time. I want to be cool and pretend I’m ordering cocaine at the restaurant. Only Coke Will Do.

But in this marriage of mine, Dr. Pepper reigns supreme. 23 Flavors? How can you say no? You gotta like one of them fuckers. It manages to have the bold flavor I associate with Cocaine while also having some of the taste of Pepsi, while not being overly sweet. You can find it in most establishments and anyone who offers me RC Cola instead should be kicked. And don’t give me that fake aspartame shit. If I ever get to the point where I need Diet Soda, I need a Diet not a Soda.

Me! I definitely prefer to do lines of coke, love the numbing effect it produces but it’s so overpriced… As far as the drinks Coke is better than Pepsi imo but I’m fine with either.

I still remember this traumatic event from my childhood, where I ordered a coke from some place and when I took my first sip of it I spit it out immediately. It was some of the most vile shit I ever remember drinking, it tasted nothing like coke, so I threw it away thinking somehow the coke must have gone bad or something. Years go by and one day I’m trying to decide what to drink and I realize I’ve never tried Dr. Pepper before so I should give it a chance, I fill up my cup with it and take a sip, I recognize the taste instantly, it’s identical to the bad coke I had all those years ago, turns out they must have just given me Dr. Pepper by mistake, that thought hadn’t occurred to me because I didn’t think anyone would willingly drink something with a taste like that, even to this day it’s difficult for me to believe that people genuinely enjoy Dr. Pepper…
