I respect that too, but we can agree that they are definitely a fun band for sure. There’s too many top quality songs scattered all over their discography, I never get bored of this band haha

I haven’t listened to Pura since like, 2007? Chandelier is the last album I remember. Psycho Garden, Ghost, and monophobia were my faves, but Baka ni natta noni and Moshimo piano ga hiketa nara probably got stuck in my head the most LOL. Any recommendations on which albums have stood out since I last heard them?
My faves are Ink (2011), Dona dona (2009) and echo (2014 mini album). They have more of a post-rock/shoegaze vibe.
Their recent albums are good too, but these are definitely my faves since then. Considering their most “recent” ones, I’d pick doorAdore (2018).

Starting with echo and really liking it so far! I’m just always amazed at how consistently good these guys are lol.
Sounds like I’m gonna have to check out Utsusemi too. I’m so excited that they kept releasing albums so for so long!

echo is an incredible little mini-album. Every song is gold.
Personally, as far as “recent” albums go, I would recommend ammonite, ink, and Hakusei.
