That’s just cruel. There’s clearly a reason DIR EN GREY have lasted longer than only a handful of bands. Despa was a star that burnt out once they ran out of ideas and went down hill after Mirror.

These days, anything’s possible, even the things we don’t want to think about. I’ve reached a point in life where I can accept that my favorite band might end someday. It’s not negativity, it’s just reality.
I like Dir en grey, but I’m not the kind of fan who excuses everything they do. If something feels off or questionable, I’ll call it out. Turning a blind eye isn’t loyalty, it’s denial.No one has to agree with me, and that’s fine. But the truth is: everything ends. If someone can’t handle the idea that a band or any band might break up one day, or gets upset just because someone said it out loud… maybe they’re still holding onto a kind of fandom that hasn’t matured yet
