Reality Dating Shows are my Guilty Pleasure and I just watched the first two episodes of the japanese show “Badly in Love” and it is soooo good 
Not one boring minute as of now.
I can’t watch shows from my home country, though. Way too cringe and the people in it come across as inauthentic. I wonder if a lot of people feel this way about shows from their respective home country - maybe it just feels more fake when listening in your native tongue because it is easier to detect things like bad acting?

I think you may be on to something! My wife is Dutch and outside of a few programs, she finds Dutch TV pretty cringe. But when it comes to me, i’ll turn on damn near anything to check it out because #1: being an American living in the NL, Dutch TV is still pretty novel for me and #2: I’m trying to learn the language, so i’m more focused on listening/reading/comprehending and just trying to absorb the language than I am on being entertained.
Thankfully, I have found a few Dutch programs that I like tho!

I’ve been trying to explain to a rapper in Japan how to make a channel on instagram after we started talking when he put out a telegram in his story.
I finally played and completed God Hand on ps2, that was a hilarious and tough experience. I hope someone gets inspired one day and makes a spiritual successor.

I’m glad that I don’t use social media that much (pretty much only instagram in moderation) and the only thing I hear about such fans is when they are mentioned here 
But it also leaves me concerned to what awaits me in Paris in July
