You’re stunned and shocked? I am not. Putin’s been moving the pieces around the board for months. I’m surprised it actually took this long for him to pull the trigger.

Yes, I am, that’s how I feel about the whole situation…
I felt scared when Putin said if other countries would help Ukraine they would experience consequences as they have never experienced in their history.

The American media echo chamber is so bad right now. On the one side we have broadcasters and political figures (including our last president loooooool) actually praising Putin’s actions??? Then the other side has the military industrial complex whispering in their ears, practically unable to contain their excitement around the prospect of a large-scale war. Trying to be accurately informed right now is exhausting.
Hope everyone on here takes the steps to take care of their mental and physical well-being during these objectively shit times. Especially those who are geographically much closer to the conflict. Stay safe y’all.

Was looking up initial video reviews for the Steam Deck just to see if it’s met expectations with the press it’s been getting over the past year-or-so. I think opting for the Ayn Odin Pro and using Moonlight (streaming from my PC) was a good move because I lean more into emulation than triple-a titles. I was hoping the Steam Deck would be a good Windows-based UMPC successor/solution, but it seems like SteamOS/Linux is really what the device was meant for. Also, the battery life 
…
That out of the way, TIL one of my family friends growing up is associated with one of the major YT channels I perused and did the most ridiculous double-take as I watched the vid. Haven’t been in contact for a number of years, but glad they’ve found success.
