RENGEKI will release their 2nd album “連撃” (Rengeki) in January 2026.
A new bassist called あべちゃん (Abechan) have also joined the band.

I started following them because of Nimo, very happy they are slowly gaining fans, budget, and success!
I scrolled briefly through their Twitter and couldn’t find anything about the album. Guess it’s not going to January ….

Release date of their new album is now 2026/05/20.
They also left their agency and are now independent. They have created their own label “Whims Records.”.

Just heard their first album, i’m surprised how much i enjoy it! But not as surprised as i was by the dazzlingbad voice on the opening track
I could see these guys becoming a fav of mine in the current generation. For the first time in a few years they got me on a wave of wanting to check out new bands…
