Idc if this sounds insensitive. Fuck the business and fuck whatever promise they made to Reita tbh. It REALLY won’t matter if neither Ruki, Kai, Uruha, and hell even Aoi end up with health issues…or worse.
No one, NO ONE would fault the GazettE for taking how ever long they need to make sure THEYRE ok. I wish Ruki the best but I also can’t sit and say it’s not a lil frustrating to see he underlying message in all these posts saying “he wants to go back to work.”

I said this on Discord already but I also think, if he/they go on like that things will take longer and longer, because things won’t change on their own.
At the same time, I maybe can relate, even though that depends on how he or also the others is.
I’ve been through something similar without the pressure they’re under (Japanese societal influences, business influences, not wanting to disappoint the fans who are waiting (yet rather keep on waiting instead of something like this happening)), I just couldn’t stop. Inside there was such an urge to keep going, I couldn’t slow down. For me in such a state doing nothing is as stressful as doing much. Finding a balance ain’t easy, but if something like that is the case with him, I hope he’ll find it. Because that’s what he needs. He’s not old with turning 45 next year but also not as young anymore (not with close to 25 years in this band alone of constant activity).
And that gets me to the point that I don’t think it’s likely they will take an actual break. With their 25th anniversary next year I don’t see that happen. Even though I think, screw the anniversary and take care of yourself!
All of them need a break. I really hope this is just exhaustion from work and stress (it certainly sounds like it with all the “he just wants to see everyone again” statements) but it’s not going to get better unless he actually gets away from work and thinks about something else for a few weeks. Preferably months.
May not be as easy as it sounds. Who knows they could be fighting a court case behind the scene ever since their conflict with Aoi
