i’ve been into vkei since ~2000 when someone gave me a bootlegged X Japan cassette and i heard toshi wailing OH RUSTY NAIL and thought “yes i need more of this in my life”. my first band after that was dir en grey, i downloaded the yokan pv in 240px off limewire and thought toshiya was so pretty and started crying bc i didn’t know people could be that attractive. i also had an OC for fanfic writing when i was a teenager who was basically a walmart version of mana 
gothic pretty boy who was mysterious but spoke bc i was “different”
i listened to a bunch of osare kei in high school and was CONVINCED i would move to japan and date both mashiro from himeyuri/paradeis and riku or jun or kisaki from phantasmagoria. yes i was 15, now i look back on it and cringe laugh
i took a break in 2012 when i got into a bad relationship but secretly listened to it (they didnt like non english music???), then left them and immediately got back into it because hello???
my fave band is access but they’re more jpop!
for vkei i like a9, dennou himeca, gotcharocka, amai bouryoku, babykingdom, phantasmagoria, trembling bambi, nameless, gravity, VAMPS, gremlins, nightmare…i pm give anything a shot!
uhhh in my free time i like going out to karaoke, cooking, and studying eyeballs since it’s my profession
