"We’re sorry to share some disappointing news. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the upcoming shows in Bratislava and Madrid as part of the “Youthpit” tour have been canceled.
Despite our combined efforts with Fake Star and the artist management to explore alternative solutions, it was unfortunately not possible to keep these dates in the tour schedule.
Verde/ & Takeru are very disappointed they won’t get the chance to meet their fans in Slovakia and Spain this time. However, we’re all hopeful to make it happen in the future!
All tickets will be refunded by the ticket provider within the next couple of weeks. If you encounter any issues, please contact the platform where you purchased your ticket for further assistance."
I saw it yesterday and was deeply disappointed.
I was going to Madrid to see Takeru.
I can’t deny that I knew it could end like this, since they sell very few tickets in Spain. I hope the Damned disappointment lasts…
Maybe I am wrong, but I could never imagine Slovakia selling enough tickets for solo project (not even bands) of Sug and Alice Nine. Especially in 2025
But Bratislava is right in the middle between 4 countries so the probably hoped fans from Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary would go to Bratislava.
I honestly think the solo projects have it harder. Alice Nine maybe could have worked. And there is always the problem with making the fans aware.
I would hardly know of any of those concerts if it weren’t for Jrockone
I don’t think anyone’s going to travel for a show with a backing track tbh, and in my experience through events, the newer generation of fans really doesn’t have a handle on the bands of the 2000s/early 2010s. I hope this won’t reflect as a lack of interest in vk, but rather as lack of interest in these grifts by dudes with the best years of their careers behind them (calling it like I see it)
VIP tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 6PM CET (5PM UK)
VIP Upgrade will include:
• Early entrance
• Laminate pass
• Polaroid with Verde/ and Takeru (3-shot cheki)
• Signed photo
• Special send-off event after the show (First 10 VIP only)
No details on the price or what the send-off event is exactly yet
Big regrets sitting this one out. If I remember correctly I got as far as the street where the venue was but then went like ”I guess I don’t like their new stuff” and went to the pub across the street instead of buying a ticket. That’s how spoiled we were I guess…
anyone else feel like there have been little tickets sold? the posts about the tour don’t get much engagement, the two shows were canceled, and this to me sounds like, desperate. idk
I bought tickets for London and honestly idk what to expect. Been a fan of Sug and Alice Nine but haven’t been following their activities after they disbanded/hiatus. (I wish Hiroto would join the tour but he seems to be super busy with solo activities?)
@Sanobabicchi@zero0o just my take as someone who was never a FAN of either (a casual listener of Alice Nine I guess) but happened to be at the Hiroto + Takeru gig (it was at a con I planned to attend) personally I enjoyed! It was overwhelmingly more Takeru songs (because it was actually Takeru ft Hiroto .. ) and I know Nothing of his solo career but they started with the Takeru solos which weren’t too bad then played popular SuG and A9 tracks (with a L’arc cover bonus bc anime con) and I found it super enjoyable, too bad for me it was just two Alice Nine songs lol but I thought they prepared a setlist that pleased everybody, like, if you don’t like my solos feel free to wake up in 20 min .. lol. They were sweet. I have a good impression of Takeru now and I like Shou so I would go if I could. But yeah not blaming anyone who isn’t excited to go because it’s just vocals .. I would try to go for Shou but not if it was super expensive ig
That’s very helpful, thanks!
The first stop is London (which I’ll be attending) so it’ll be hard to prepare for, unlike the other stops. I guess I’ll do some research closer to the date.
Hi hi I went in blind for Shou’s birthday live. While I’m pretty sure he will, along with Takeru, hit on some nostalgia buttons, some of the recent songs he showed at the live felt pretty fun to listen to live, at least, and he did have a pretty nice balance of both harder songs and softer songs. Here’s the playlist, I think everything is on the Spotify link he shared:
He does have an excellent team behind his solo works (peep his support team: Yo and Yusuke from Manterou Opera, Kazami from Daizystripper, along with violinist Hiromi and drummer Ken’ichi) and while I don’t think they will be accompanying him for the euro tour, I’d like to think their efforts make for a decent experience in terms of songs. I recall Yusuke helped out a lot with the composing?
Also Shou is really cool with the crowd, he came down and interacted with fans. Hope you guys get something like that too!
