Shou (ex Alice nine) & Takeru (ex SuG) - “youthpit” EU Tour 2025

Thanks everyone! That’s very cool, I can expect a pretty nice show then :innocent: I hope they’ll do at least a couple alice nine/sug songs, just for the nostalgia :face_holding_back_tears:

I just got my ticket for Milan!! Is anyone else going there? :hugs: Also, I’m still debating if getting the VIP package is worth it or not

Update:

They didn’t mention yet if we’ll be able to get other stuff signed or not, but I sure hope so!

Edit: we will!

Hi, I’m going to the Milan show too! I have only bought the regular ticket, as I don’t really know a lot about them, but if you are a big fan the photo+signing session sounds pretty cool tbh. Anyways, I hope to see you there!

Well, I kind of follow them since 2010/2011, but I’m not really familiar with their solo stuff…I’m more into Sug and Alice Nine! A photo+signing session with them sounds nice though…even if it’s a bit expensive :face_holding_back_tears: I’ll think about it!

btw hope to see you there too! :innocent:

Still waiting for Takeru’s, but already very happy with this! Especially with V/ limited edition, from 8800 yen to 35€, that’s a pretty huge discount!

2shot will be available at merchandise table and they are scheduled after the concert (Polaroid event)

  • 2shot cheki is one polaroid with the artist you chose
  • You can’t take a 2shot with more than one. person, only you and the artist.
  • You can’t share it with a friend
  • Purchasing for other people is not allowed quantities are limited

Oh and plot twist, it won’t be (at least for Shou, not sure about Takeru) a ‘karaoke show’:

Personally, I’m not too crazy about the merch this time

Also €10 for one cheki??

Out of curiosity, what is a karaoke show?

Also wondering, is this kind of live (eg no live instruments) common in Japan? I found it kind of strange when i heard about it. I’d die to see Hiroto play guitar :sob:

I feel like 10€ is a pretty common prices for cheki in Europe? Now is it worthy or not, that’s up to everyone, but it’s pretty standard. (If i remember correctly Takeru sold his cheki for 1500¥ during his recent Japanese lives, so almost 9€… we’re not far off!)

By karaoke show I meant just the singer with no musician, just a backing track! (Like Miku from An Cafe did recently for instance) And yeah it’s rarer in Japan because musicians are already there, so it’s cheaper for solo acts to hire them. But it happens (I saw that Takeru did one recently, a very intimate thing, DAVID/SUI too, I think Kaya does them too? Not 100% sure)

And yeah, I’m kinda sad they didn’t do Youthpit merch, and just imported Japanese merch with them… My guess is that the tour sold very few tickets and they didn’t want to spend too much on merch as there wouldn’t be too many people buying it. (But maybe I’m dead wrong, don’t quote me on that lmao)
Still found cool things to buy in both Verde and Takeru’s merch though, I’ll end up spending 100€ lmao

Anyone here went to London? Trying to find the setlist, but only thing I saw was LOVE SCREAM PARTY for Takeru and White Prayer for Shou :face_exhaling:

Edit: thanks a nice user on Twitter, here’s the setlist!

I went to London!

Small live report I guess, sorry i like to document my experience if that’s ok

Here

The crowd was so small, I felt so bad… I was debating what time to join the queue (going by myself so didn’t want to feel awkward waiting by myself. But also wanted to buy the 2shots and was afraid they’d sell out, like fukuro). Some mutuals from instagram got there at 4pm and they were the first ones… I got there a lil after 5pm (the latest I’ve arrived to a concert ever lol, since I always like to be as close as possible), and there weren’t many people. I was so curious how many people bought vip (I couldn’t justify buying it for myself sadly), and only like 2 small groups did.

When the vips went in at 6pm, I was like 10th in the queue, and i looked behind and the queue didn’t even reach the corner (if you know the venue, you know). I kept feeling so sad. A lil more people started showing up at like 6:30pm.

We got let in a lil after 7pm, and i bought a 2shot for one of each (they said it was a high chance it’ll be cash only, so i got prepared. But they didn’t have €10 change so I had to pay by card, and then the transaction was loading really slowly, even though it showed that it got through on my end, but not on theirs… and then they DID end up having change… x_x a bit annoying but anyway) Honestly I wasn’t too crazy about the merch. I suppose I used to be huge fans of Alice Nine and SuG, but i didn’t really follow their solo activities much. The Verde penlight does look very pretty, and i did want to buy some cheki, but i need to save money for my trip to Japan next year.

Anyway I was around 3rd row on the left side. Since the crowd was so small, there was minimum squashing and pushing, phew. I did however end up in the 2nd row by the end for some reason (I mainly stay in my spot even after jumping up and down, so i guess I shifted slightly cos I didn’t want to be touched by people near me when they got too close lol).

They were so interactive! Takeru came out first and did his songs, then left, and Shou came out after a while. After he left, the two of them came out after the encore chant. It’s kinda funny seeing them two together (the height difference is so cute hehe, they messed around saying Shou is Takeru and Takeru is Shou, and Shou gesturing about the height difference). I could feel they were truly so happy to be back in London. And Shou even said that he wants to come back with Alice Nine!

The MC was so fun! They spoke a good bit of English, and some simple Japanese. They were engaging with the crowd so much! People screaming their country names and they were responding, and then Takeru pointing at someone wearing a SuG tshirt. They sang one last song together, which was really interesting (I didn’t recognise the song sorry x_x But the setlist is there).

I did recognise some of the other songs lol, again mostly Alice Nine and SuG songs. The guitarist, Tatsu, did pretty well and was pretty cute. He interacted quite a bit too. Oh Shou sang one of my fav songs, Rainbows! And damn Tatsu played both the solos. (although I kept imagining Hiroto up there pulling his solo :sob:) Oh and Takeru sang Gr8 Story! I’ve been obsessed with that song for ages. Though I’m sad he didn’t sing Sick’s (I kinda expected it since it was in Killing Faze’s spotify playlist :expressionless_face:).

Although it did feel strange to only have one guitar and no other instruments. Tatsu was also “controlling” the dj setup thing. Some songs/segments kind of felt like a rave/clubbing music, if that makes sense. Especially the multi coloured lighting lol.

One thing I noticed was uh. During the MC they said they were scared, and that the group of people in the pit/center were monsters (something like that). Because, when they were performing and whenever they reach out their hand to the audience, the crowd goes crazy trying to grab their hand (actually maybe it was these moments that I got pushed to 2nd row, cos yeah the people behind wanted to touch him lol), like I seen the audience grab Shou’s hand and not wanted to let go, I kinda felt scared for him. Oh at one point Takeru “climbed” onto the side rail thing on my side! I was like omg don’t fall.

So all in all, i had a great time! I ended up talking to quite some people, and i got the courage to go up to someone that I recognise on instagram lol. I wonder how the vip send off event went! I also hope they won’t be too discouraged or sad about the low ticket sales… I mean, I was devastated for fans when they had to cancel Bratislava and Madrid. The fan base in Latin America seems so much bigger, at least from the photos I’m seeing. I’m hoping there’ll be decent size crowds for the upcoming dates!

Aaand here’s my Instagram for picture, only stories for now until I’m back home to do a proper post:

The show was so much fun! Not a massive turnout, but both the audience and the artists gave their all (despite Shou struggling to sing because of some issues with his throat). I was surprised how much they talked, it was really moving (Shou repeated his intention of coming back to Europe with Alice Nine one day, and Takeru thanking us for still being there for him as a solo artist, and all the struggles he’s facing)

Fun fact: This was their first time back in Germany since J-Rock Invasion (Vol. 1 - Vol. 2 never came lol) with Kra, Screw and Kagrra, back in December 2007. Playing in front of a sold out Palladium with a capacity of 4000 people.

Yeees !! They mentioned it several times, asking who was there at the time :pink_heart: Man, despite the small turnout, the live truly felt special.

Wow Shou sang Yami ni Chiru Sakura in Cologne!! One of the very first Alice Nine songs I got obsessed with! Too bad there was no Raindows in this setlist, though we got it in London so I’m happy! (also one of my favs)

I’m really really looking forward to hopefully seeing Alice Nine in London soon! I need to look up what the members are up to (I only know that Hiroto is quite active)

Going back from live in Warsaw. It was amazing.

I’m a big Alice Nine fan and Shou is one of my favorite people in the scene, so I was very happy to hear Tsubasa, White Prayer and Yami ni Chiru Sakura live. :sob: He also mentioned bringing Alice Nine here like on other stops of the tour. :blue_heart:

With SuG and Takeru’s solo stuff I’m only vaguely familiar, but he was very good at engaging the public and very funny. XD I used up on his part of the set whatever energy I had left after Shou’s part.
