I’m excited for this release!
I read this interview about it too. It was cool to see Matsuri talk about the composing process a bit.
As I said before, the theme was decided by the band, so I tried composing various things from there, such as pop-like and recent-like. But somehow, it just didn’t feel right. So, while I was trying and searching for various things, I suddenly reaffirmed that “even if there is a concept, we must not forget the Sick² -ness”. I think we are a visual kei band that can be done without being particular about what kind of style it is, so I tried composing again with the “ness” in mind, even if it’s a vague thing. And this is the finished product.
Apparently it’s already been played live too.
