Spotify wrapped up 2021

The term “Yacht Rock” actually didn’t exist until 2005, until a certain mockumentary/parody series showed up on YouTube depicting all the artists as yuppies on yachts with the proclivity for s m o o t h music. It’s really just Soft-Rock or AOR (Adult-oriented Rock) from the mid-1970s to the early-1980s that originated in SoCal.

What’s funny, is the K-pop that I listen to is also 95% soft tracks/B-sides. I guess I just like Visual Kei and S M O O T H, lol.

I would use Spotify more if they add Moi Dix Mois and Malice Mizer

Honestly, I was surprised by #1 on my top artists. Honestly don’t spend that much time on spotify so curious to see what my last.fm is like.
