Unsurprisingly, it’s almost entirely just Kyo bands again. I’ve probably listened to more soundtracks overall but the plays are spread out too thin to dethrone the usual 3.

Not really that accurate, as there’s no wrapped for old .mp3 files of japanese bands that disbanded in 2004 and had about 15 listeners, lol
but yeah, I said it back then and gonna say it again, 優しく奪って is the best thing to come out of Japan this year. That song is not only so fucking important to me personally, but it also has the one thing that this scene is missing so so much nowadays. HEART.

Free trial maxxing through the year.
Also I think apple music doesn’t count offline listening because during the summer I sure listened to Sadie more. Usually I could finish the album while cycling to work, and then one more time when cycling back home.
Also when will Sadie fix their cover photo?

Iris Out by Kenshi Yonezu was my 3rd most listened to song this year. Which isn’t bad, considering the first time I heard it was a month ago.
