There is not infos about! btw the visunavi interview talk about: They want to create music, sold out their shows, focus on production, and bring back the authentic energy of the 90s and 2000s movement. They aim to revive visual kei just like it used to be.
Well, your statement goes against what the members themselves said, if they said “they’re producing and drawing inspiration from the '90s and 2000s scene.” Now, if they consider the songs they’ve already released to fit that… who am I to say otherwise?
well I mean we could imagine that this is what they aim for future releases and the current one was still very “supervised” by Lime kun.
lets see what they bring on the table in the future.
True, but remember we already talked about how everything happened so fast with their release and then boom a festival debut right away. Now let’s see if they’ll actually prove they’re the real deal (assuming there’s not too much Lime influence).
You could say that there’s quite a bit of turn of the millennium influences in their appearance like the scotch pattern in the photoshoot above could be considered as a nod, but musically… I think it can be something as vague as the “spirit” rather than the technique itself… but yeah. There’s one overwhelming influence in their music and it doesn’t really beg repeating what that is.
Their visuals are very 2000s, even the album cover seems like a pop version of 12012 mar maroon to some extent.
Musically while not bad it’s not outstanding or too distinct either. I miss when VK would take risks with vocals and have quirkier voices that gave a distinct mood to the band. Lately everyone has basically the same kind of voice that does the same kind of stuff in the same kind of range. Older VK would get slammed for bad vocalists. And they were hard to get into sometimes but if they clicked with you upon discovering it, you were in for a ride. They just painted a picture you could not get anywhere else. Now VK is the opposite
