sukekiyo - possess

Feels very chill and melancholy for a standalone single, but I think it’s good! I wonder why this one isn’t getting some big dumb release with live footage, a B-side, and a demo remake? Did they run out of demos to remake and decide “eh…fuck it”?

You can really tell Kyo has been smoking.

its good

It sure is a song with Kyo on vocals.

Its good, I like this direction more than the city pop stuff, altough the son itself isn’t as memorable

oh I love this one

i’m sorry for others bands, but right now they are the best composers..! amazing one

Not the most memorable song or something you really will repeat - but anything that is better than breeder is a step forward, so thats good.
Extremely hot take - overall sounds like something that would be on a DeG album though, not gonna lie (non single track).

If DeG sounded like this I woul actually listen to them lol. The reason I like Sukekiyo is that they don’t make the br00tal edgy music that DeG makes that has infested VK for decades at this point.

This is nice. It’s much more along the lines of the sorts of sounds I’d hoped sukekiyo would lean into back when they first started out. I tend to not be all that into most of their output these days, but I could definitely go for more stuff like this song.

Nah take away one of the guitars (the one that sounds like it’s not connected to any electricity :face_with_tongue:) and you have a 6/10 DeG album song, on say arche. I’m surprised to be alone here.

Anyway in the right direction I’m happy with it :+1:

Great song. We are soooooo back

They did it again, better song than whatever MD is going to be, you read it here first.

Cool song, not anything groundbreaking but solid and good

Honestly; this.

First listen, I’m not sold. His vocals sound a bit mumbly and hard to hear. I’ll give it another listen with headphones.

I am kinda relieved it’s not another candid/moan/Valentina type. Not that I don’t like those, but I am hungry for something different. This is definitely different.

I like it. But it feels more like it should be on an album. It still sounds heavily like Erosio toward the end, but shows more of the next direction.

This song feel a bit like a Erosio leftover in a good way

I know some of the lyrics to this song, but as always I want to know all of it! I wonder when the lyrics will be published.
