Cautiously optimistic that this is an album and not another single for god’s sake
calling my shot, two new songs at most
I’m cautiously hopeful at this point.
At this point I’m easily betting this is just one of their usual “glorified 2-3-track single with extra stuff to make it super-expensive” packages, but what can I say, I love them. Bring it!
Well, we still have some demo songs left: Valentina, Aishita Shinzou, Sesshoku and The Hole could all be part of this.
Too early to tell if it will be a single/EP or a full album, though.
We’re still using an antiquated mindset thinking of whether sukekiyo releases are “singles,” “EPs,” or “albums.” No, sukekiyo has transcended these artificial constraints imposed by the music industry—these are all music and video compilations.
You’re technically right as long as it has at least one song and a dvd of some sort.
Some of them are even video and music collections!
When was the last time the sukky boys didn’t bundle music and videos in a release?
Well they technically released multiple versions of singles and digital versions as well.
True, but those are just versions while the releases themselves are music & video compilations.
When did they first start referring to releases as audio and video collections? @seelentau
I remember it like yesterday because Adoratio seared the phrase “music and video collection” into my hippocampus. The discussion on MH was quite fun.
Before that Vitium was called a mini-album.
Now every time they announce a “music and video collection” my brain immediately wants to think “album” because of that first time with ADORATIO, but then they never released more than a single’s worth of new music under this terminology since then… how sadistic.
They can do whatever they want to me and I will take it. Give me crumbs, I truly do not care.
a consummate 『creation』 of musicianship and cinematography
an altar offering for Calliope, Melpomene and Erato
In this day and age the term “album” doesn’t really mean what it used to anyway, so might as well call it whatever. Especially sukekiyo’s longer releases have always been more like collections of little experiments, some good some bad, connected mostly by loose stylistic similarities.
I’m really hoping for an EP or album but I’m with @wing on this one: anything will do
probably not since Anima tbh.
