At this point I’m easily betting this is just one of their usual “glorified 2-3-track single with extra stuff to make it super-expensive” packages, but what can I say, I love them. Bring it!
Well, we still have some demo songs left: Valentina, Aishita Shinzou, Sesshoku and The Hole could all be part of this.
Too early to tell if it will be a single/EP or a full album, though.
We’re still using an antiquated mindset thinking of whether sukekiyo releases are “singles,” “EPs,” or “albums.” No, sukekiyo has transcended these artificial constraints imposed by the music industry—these are all music and video compilations.
Now every time they announce a “music and video collection” my brain immediately wants to think “album” because of that first time with ADORATIO, but then they never released more than a single’s worth of new music under this terminology since then… how sadistic.
In this day and age the term “album” doesn’t really mean what it used to anyway, so might as well call it whatever. Especially sukekiyo’s longer releases have always been more like collections of little experiments, some good some bad, connected mostly by loose stylistic similarities.
I’m really hoping for an EP or album but I’m with @wing on this one: anything will do
