Can I ask, was this version previously ever announced? Because damn this is shady. Making people buy the overly expensive releases because they think that will be the only version.

They’ve always done this as far as I know, first the exclusive version, then a time later a regular one.

Well, they never said the premium version would be the only version, and anyone looking at their older releases can guess that sooner or later, a regular version will be released.
When people online asked if this release will be on streaming, I even told them that it would only happen once the regular version will be released.
It was only a matter of - in this case a very short amount of - time until the announcement.

More expensive version with fancy packaging and extra songs and live performances are the only versions I ever get anyway.
