the GazettE has removed Aoi from the band

If I am sad, grieving, angry about a lot of things and taking a few drinks, I can’t say I would keep my mouth shut too. It’s not ideal, but everyone is flawed in some way

I think it’s either something that build up for years and years now that we don’t know about, or the disparition of Reita that was reaaally really difficult to assimilate. ( for some obvious reasons )
Anyway, i personally can’t get myself to hate Aoi ( as long as that interview doesn’t end up being proven real. Because the staff part and divulging Reita’s real cause of death is really… ). He’s not a perifidious member of a nugu band like we often see, he’s a pillar member of a 20+ old band, and what a band Gazetto are.
I just think it’s sad that everyone is coming with such extreme comments and announcements. Obviously they’re all in a bad place mentally and can’t regulate their emotions and it’s just one bad decision after one :l

He’s always been my favorite member but his jewelry brand is peak pretentiousness and that’s coming from someone who’s considered just throwing money at HAZUKI’s stuff.

I agree with this for sure but to be fair to the Gazette i’m of the impression this was their priority (hence why we heard nothing more than some subtweets whose recipient we couldn’t figure out) for a year, then this third party publication seemed to have forced their hand

just my imho tho

Tanuki is surprisingly quiet about all this.

Had an already shitty day when I saw the news earlier today on reddit.

The reddit post also mentioned some private photos of Aoi with a woman that were leaked earlier. It mentioned that tanuki users suggested the compensation money he wanted, being related to the leaking of these photos. I won’t share the reddit thread as it had the photos attached. And they are really private… uff

Tbh I don’t give much about these rumors because allegedly a lot if tanuki users said they don’t believe his claims about mental health issues because he looks too fine in the pictures. Which is a terrible take….

I just wanted to bring up that this leaking also happend and might be connected in some way.

Hope this is not too much speculation, if it is admins feel free to delete.

On another note, it was very refreshing to see that the discussion here was so calm and did not blame one side or the other. Thanks everyone for being so civil

The Winter was in development hell for a while, and I guess Reita’s passing made things worst. They should have thrown the project in the can, and take a hiatus after the memorial lives. I think that whole “we will keep gazette alive no matter what” became both a mantra and a curse for them. Shit sucks guys, it’s so sad

Haven’t looked, but I bet VK Twitter is a dumpster fire today.

I understand where you’re coming from and the parallels you’re drawing! Though from the looks of this current situation I feel that those two bands are already incredibly, incredibly blessed that they got through their respective fires, though the main difference is that both bands have members that remain and are very amicable with each other. While I wasn’t following Nightmare during and before their time in hiatus, the way they are now and the bits and pieces I hear about them and watching them now…it’s like they really came through it stronger.

(I’d wax lyrical but I also hold caution that I only know as much as I see.)

Satochi too, since his pivot has been met with his members and fans blessings and support. Still a huge blow atp in time of course, but yes, to echo the above, the difference is that there was ultimately mutual understanding and that the two moved forward with a lot of grace. I wish the same to come to GazettE, even if not now.

I really don’t think this is it, like you could bring in touring members, put out one final album and one final tour and go to sleep and come back around every ten years or so.

All sensible, but Kai’s is a little much, that promise to keep the band going is hanging heavy on his heart and his shoulders.

Always is, just moreso today with certain parts of the “fanbase”

Ngl i was hoping to leave it a bit unsaid cuz last thing i wanna do is compare two struggles when one party’s in the middle of it

But yeah very much hoping these guys find their own way too, tho by now it’s gotta be different than these ig

All good, I totes understand you! Don’t worry, I too was drawing my own parallels to one other band that also had some legal entanglements to see if there was any sliver of hope that moving forward to an amicable resolution was possible

It’s all different for sure and definitely that sentiment has come up for me on my end too;we all are trying to piece together what we understand from what has happened in the midst of uncertainty

The Aoi merch purge has begun.

Reading that statement (especially in Japanese) it sounds like he has been a complete asshole to the band/the other members, woah did not expect this…

If you see anything signed HIT ME UP!

It’s hard to tell who is the asshole. May be a well elaborated set up against him. Or both sides are just assholes twds each other. Or just him? But it’s sad that my band is in such a mess now. Unsure what to expect in the future. A 3 men play on stage is gg to look weird af.

You think corporate staff put a PI on him to find out any info that could act as leverage so he could stop asking for more and acting up? The candid Twitter de images were extremely timely but the content wasn’t super damming in my eyes. But maybe japanese fans really disliked he kissed a girl and she liked it.

Or, it could be being implied by them that he may be cheating on his wife (if he has one)
