by the way, this announcement came after this news article came out.
hopefully someone can run it through google translate to share with the class. anyway it’s pretty much a tabloid so take it with a grain of salt, but at the end it says they spoke to Aoi himself and quoted him in the article.

i don’t wanna sound naive/candid, because after all it’s an industry, and " artist " is a job like another, but damn man is that how the 5 best friends adventure ending ? heartbreaking and disappointing to say the least, after all these years. Not judging any of the members cuz we don’t really know what happened internally and which member was really in the wrong ( at least for now. And i’m not sure i even wanna know 
) but… ugh
edit : damn, that article was super gross i’m shocked, if the whole thing is true. Whole memories with the band ruined haha

It seemed to me that a dark shadow of something wrong with the band had been looming for quite a while already? Although I have no interest in them, I did come across some worried reflections here and there couple years ago.

Sounds like Aoi was not grieving well through this for a while.
There’s so much speculation right now, so I won’t add to that. But feel really bad for all the members in different ways. It’s hard to navigate stuff like this as a regular person. Much harder when you have an image to live up to, a job that revolves around that, and a whole management staff.
