I had heard about this. But through the perspective of someone who would have to travel to Japan to then turn around and go to Taiwan.

Honestly, I don’t know whether you can even count trips like this as true instances of playing overseas. If it’s assumed that everyone there lives in Japan anyways, then what’s even the point? “Sorry fans from other Asian countries, there is no option to go to this show unless you book a flight to Japan separately. :(“

It seems like they do have an option to just meet in Taiwan instead, so wouldn’t have to go to Japan to go on the the trip. If you were just interested in the live(s), you don’t need to join the trip to go and ticket sales start later this month :grinning:

Sounds like an awesome event, would definitely go if I could. Good luck to these bands, and congrats to the fans who can go!

Gosh I’m so jealous of all the Nightmare cheki😭 One girl on twitter said that she got a huge haul because there was literally no one in the cheki line, like wtf???

I’m kind of wondering about the breakdown of fans who travelled from Japan vs locals or other Asian countries. If there wasn’t many people buying cheki, was that mainly due to cheki not being much of a local custom?

Hmmm Interesting. Merch was promoted. Many people bought chekis for XAAXAA or THE MADNA… not sure about NIGHTMARE tho

From what I roughly understand from their recent Bakuretsu Nightmare NicoNico live, they said that there were several male concert-goers in their Taiwan live, probably more than usual. I think Hitsugi said he interacted or something with a male fan at saizen. This makes me wonder if that might have been a possible influence on Cheki sales, even though this is a very simplified explanation

There were some Japanese fans for sure, definitely smaller than a usual Japan live given that I did see 1-2 tweets of those who managed to buy a good amount of Cheki at one go…
For Nightmare, it’s pretty rare, so these are gonna be one helluva coveted good if they had did it in Japan.

All of these are just my layman observations online though! pinch of shio for everything
