THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S is dead, long live D’ESPAIRSRAY? People were already speculating about whether the side projects/new bands of despa members will go on after announcing the reunion and we have our first answer:
“THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S has announced that they will be suspending their activities after their performance at Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo on December 18th.
Late last year, THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S took time to discuss their future activities and the future of the band, and after careful consideration, including the option of disbanding, they decided to take an indefinite hiatus, citing “our feelings for everyone who has supported us up to now, and our desire to cherish the existence of THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S.” The album that was scheduled for release in March has been canceled, and the title of their spring tour has been changed from “-MM H-” to “THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S LAST TOUR ‘HELLO MY CLONE’.” All other currently planned shows will go ahead as scheduled.
THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S is a band formed in August 2011 by former FANATIC◇CRISIS (currently FANTASTIC◇CIRCUS ) members Kazuya (Guitar), SHUN. (Guitar) , ZERO (Bass) and TSUKASA (Dr) from D’espairsRay . In 2022, KEKE, formerly of AMBEEK, joined the band as the fourth vocalist. SHUN. has been on hiatus since 2024 due to poor health.”

“To all of you who continue to support THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S
The Micro Head 4N’S will be going on an indefinite hiatus, following our Spotify O-EAST performance on Friday, December 18, 2026.
We would like to explain the circumstances that led to this decision.
At a meeting held at the end of last year,
we set aside time for each member to frankly discuss their thoughts about our future activities and the future of the band.
During this meeting, we shared our individual situations and thoughts about the future,
and we held repeated discussions about the path we should take as a band.
After careful consideration, including the option of “disbanding,”
we have come to the conclusion that, out of gratitude to all of you who have supported us so far and our desire to cherish the existence of THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S,
we have decided to take an indefinite hiatus rather than end our activities.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our fans who continue to support us, as well as to all the people who have helped us along the way.
We would also like to deeply apologize to the live music venues, artists who have performed with us, and all other people involved for the suddenness of this news.
As for future activities, we will proceed as planned, including the Spotify O-EAST performance on Friday, December 18, 2026.
We regret to inform you that the release of the album that was scheduled for March 2026 has been canceled.
As a result, the title of our spring tour, “-M M H-,” will be changed to THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S LAST TOUR “HELLO MY CLONE.”
All members will continue to work sincerely until the hiatus.
