Versailles announcement About slander and information posted on the Internet (Doxing)

[IMPORTANT]

Chateau Agency has issued a crucial statement regarding the illegal sharing of personal information. Please respect the artists, as legal action will be taken against any infractions from now on.

We don’t know what has happened, so please do not bother the artists with questions about this issue.

This applies to all artists associated with Chateau Agency (Versailles, KAMIJO, Jupiter, HIZAKI, TERU, MASASHI, and YUKI).
Here is the translation of the statement.
[Regarding Slander and Information Exposed Online (Doxing*)]

(*Doxing is the act of gathering and publishing personal information about someone or a group, without their consent, to damage their public and professional life.)

Thank you for supporting our artists.

Today’s announcement is regrettable.

We appreciate the fans who support us and enjoy social media and forums with everyone. However, we have received many reports about personal photos and slander being posted about the artists and related individuals.

Upon confirming the facts based on the received information, we realized that this is a problem and dangerous, so we cannot ignore it.

From now on, legal action will be taken against anyone who posts illegal content, doxing, slander, false articles, or anything that could cause misunderstandings.

If necessary, membership access (to their fan clubs) will be revoked, and entry to concerts or events involving our artists will be denied. Additionally, individuals who have already caused problems at concerts have been identified, and we have decided not to allow them access anymore. Please note that entry will be denied even if they have a ticket.

We regret the inconvenience, but we are also considering requiring photo identification to enter concerts or events.

Finally, please do not harm those associated with the music created by the artists.
We rely on your support so that fans can enjoy the music in peace.

Kinda would have suspected that in connection with a bunch of fake kamijo accounta that started to pop up on the net, but it sounds more like japanese fans did something they shouldn’t have done

Oh, Tanuki. Those gya are nuts.

So can anyone summarize while keeping it respectful? Their personal information was leaked? Was it a hack of some kind? And were images of any kind involved? I guess those are my main questions.

Someone else figure it out. Not jouzu enough to sift through tanuki-speak. A bunch of stuff about slander and some folks who go by “Blood Oba-san”, Kuroko, etc. Conglomerate family was thrown around in there. This looks like typical tanuki-fodder.

There’s not enough context in this thread. First post implies there’s another, further posts imply important context has been deleted. Damn.

A summary of what a Kamijo super fan on discord managed to gather from related Tanuki threads:

  • There is this older (like 50~ year old) female fan of his in Japan who is obsessed with him, created rumours about him being involved with another fan, who Tanuki is speculating is entirely a figment of her imagination.

  • She posted Fanclub messages on Tanuki to make it look like Kamijo was messaging her personally.

  • People on Tanuki are speculating that this lady started rapid fire posting, pretending to be different people saying nasty things about Kamijo.

  • Chateau Agency was then contacted about this Kerfuffle (probably while Kamijo was just trying to enjoy his European tour, ffs). It seems from the wording of this message that Chateau Agency is “aware” of who this person is and has probably revoked her fanclub membership and barred her from events. They’re just giving others a warning to not pull the same shit in the future.

I don’t know much about japanese stalking/harassment/slander legislation, but on this info alone there is enough stuff to start a legal case where I’m from.
