I’m not sure how long it’ll take for this to start. Maybe we should keep waiting for more people, leaving a reasonable amount of time for more people to see this thread. Once it starts the deadline will probably be a month or so. We need to all agree on a deadline.

Big factor, I need to be home alone to sing confidentially, and I barely am home alone nowadays due to three people working irregular hours and sometimes from home (-w-
I would love to join as I’m comfortable singing in Japanese but my voice would probably would sound too muffled since I live in an apartment with thin walls

Just tested out some songs and boy do I need to practice (not that I’m that good to begin with. But at least I would like to join. Got two songs picked out the last I’m not sure about.

Kinda interested, however I would be absolutely singing in English translations -designed to follow the original lyrical flow as best I can - as I can not speak any Japanese, besides “hello” and “goodbye” and “thank you”. Would be good practice on my vocal mixing for my own band stuff though.

I haven’t recorded yet, gotta learn the lyrics a bit better to the songs I’m planning to cover. I haven’t recorded serious covers before so I have to step up my game a bit. Also there should be pleeeeeeenty of time for people to record as I know many of you will need time. But how much time is the question. First participation has to close,(I’m waiting a bit) and then we need a deadline. Is 2 months too long a wait??

Rules so far are simple: Record 3 VK covers, and each cover must be at least 1 minute long. English and other language translations are allowed.
Once done send me the files so that I can keep them all together and safe for the voting phase. I’m not sure how the voting will be done but right now I’m thinking anonymous voting via PM? If anyone has any ideas lmk.

I’m no singer but if you’d need some help with instrumentals, I have Moises subscription that would surely be handy here.
Does everyone agree on waiting a week for more people to join, and then once everyone is in we can establish a 1-2 month deadline?
