Plenty of wigs and other hair illusions in VK, from the obvious to the realistic. As it should be. Not sure what’s going on with Hizaki’s actual hair recently, but it always stuck with me that he wore a giant wig over his own long hair. Must be hell on stage.
Kaya has had some legendary wigs too.
I was on team extensions with Hizaki.
In the HGP / early Versailles days he sometimes had his natural hair (thin, long, bleached) out when in costume. Sometimes with a poof-ball addition in the back for volume, sometimes completely natural in the 2000’s. If you see very old Versailles interviews he’s out of costume with unstyled real hair. By the early 2010’s it was all (or mostly?) wigs on stage, eventually becoming a full time deal including interviews and vlogs. I don’t think I’m talking out of turn with that: I picked Hizaki and Kaya because I think it’s part of the act for them.
An opposite case would be Sena from Jiluka, who has very thin hair and doesn’t seem to wear wigs, but uses the whole VK bag of tricks to thicken it while in character. Does a good job too, it makes a big difference.
Then there is Kamijo who managed to grow his hair down to his ass in his 50s. Unreal hair genetics on that one. Even so it is not always all real, he does still wear extensions too for volume and sometimes lenght too, especially when it is curled.

it’d piss me off if Lotto’s hair was fake ( which is, like, 99% most likely real as he have been cool hair since THOMAS ).
But the fringe thingy is actually real, they usually either would plaster fake " natural looking " ones, or blonde cheap extensions ( pretty comon with lot of asian bands in different music genre that demands for visuals )
Shhhh don’t tell the kids this, I think most people believe it’s his real hair.
Personally I have no idea, I just can’t imagine keeping that hair color up.

from when I used to be subscribed to his blog, it the real deal, from what I could tell. Not sure if that’s changed but I highly doubt he’d show up at a Giants game or The Alfee concert with anything less than his A+ hair game
