Spot on! And one of my favourite, though Kazushi pushed the gimmick a bit too far for my taste on later albums. I don’t know how many remember Rouage in 2026.
oh I kinda remember naming him on a thread about , basically in the most emotionally intelligent way, vocalists who are an acquired taste and quite a few people were agreeing with this one, so 1 ) I think they’re still alive in people’s mind even tho Kazushi is often mixed with other singers like Sakurai on X and Tik Tok by youngsters 2 ) I find him more pleasant to look at than to listen to. ( I really tried i swear, but guess i’m more into vocalists with straight pretty clear notes, unless it’s incredibly done, like by a Morrie or a Sono ) ( or a Juka or Seth .. )
