endlessly obsessed w this album. it was my first introduction to kitaro, and i’ve been spinning it on REPEAT this month!
it’s a long-shot, but if anyone remembers the hitchhiker’s guide miniseries from the bbc, it reminds me of that at certain points. maybe it’s just a whirlwind of my own nostalgia, who knows …

A long time ago MERRY covered a song by 70s folk band Garo.
I loved this song so much, that I kinda deep dived into Garo’s discography and I love them so much now. They’re on streaming services by now and their music is just really comforting to me.
That’s also how I found out about Kaze
and Kaguyahime
So now I am stuck at listening to Japanese songs from the 70s and feel like a 85 year old oyaji sitting in his small store selling very specific screws or something listening to 70s music all day long.
