What happened to Bou after leaving Ancafe? Rumors

Hugh, I though that venue was around 10.000.

Does anyone know why the paused in 2010? It feels like that made the band momentum stop and never has been the same since (could be wrong).

Does it have to do with Lc5?

Yoyogi National Gymnasium is 10000+ yes, this is another (I think right next door)

And I think they just wanted to explore different things for a while, to recharge their batteries and creative ideas (Miku with Lc5, Kanon with his label, mobile game and duo with Kanon Wakeshima, Takuya and Teruki playing with other bands…) But yeah, it definitively was at the peak of their carreer, and thet never fully got their momentum back. Their 2014 Budokan flopped so hard (it was only half full apparently) that we don’t have any picture of the crowd and they didn’t film it for a DVD (which was obviously planned)
They got some attention when they signed to a major label in 2015 (Their first major single is their second best sale ever, even though it was mostly thanks to 8 different editions), but that didn’t last, and they paused in 2019, with all members but Miku leaving the band.

Boy am I glad they changed their minds and are playing from time to time lol

The Satanic cult rumors likely originated from an alleged Australian Satanist who goes by the moniker “Aloysius Foszdyke”. He claims he’s been working in Australian politics and banking for decades, and he has talked about a lot of world conspiracies his elite cult (which he calls “the Alpha Lodge”) has been involved in pulling the strings behind the scenes. He was an occasional contributor to a conspiracy website.

Here are some things he said about Bou:

From “Satanist Insider: ‘Keep Your Money Hidden’”
(June 13, 2010):

Whilst in Tokyo I had the pleasure of meeting Kazuhiko Saitou. He will be twenty-seven in September, but his political future is assured. His influence on Japanese sexuality, indeed culture, exceeded all expectation and it was that which initially causes us to contact and nurture him. His parents are not in good health, but we have taken steps to assist. Keep an eye on him. For one so young his magickal ability is considerable. The Order will be in firm hands. The Eye of Hoor is better than the Mouth of Isis. Kazuhiko-san knows this. (You really should examine his horoscope. Dynamite!)

From “Satanist Insider Blasts Patriot ‘Arrogance’”
(June 17, 2010) :

OK. I mentioned that whilst in Tokyo I met Kazuhiko Saitou and that despite his years he’s a magician of promise. What was the reaction? He was called “a Japanese transexual (sic)” and “a…faggot” and people doubted what I said. What they do not know and don’t care to know is that Kazuhiko-san only dressed as a woman when he was a member of Antic Café. That’s what brought him to our notice. That was more than three years ago. His family has a rich Daoist history and Daoism has a largely hidden, but nonetheless rich and sinister Magickal component. He’s been studying and more recently we’ve been tutoring.

From “‘Satanist Insider’ Told to Sign Off”
(July 25, 2010) :

For one of such tender years, the beautifully cute Kazuhiko-san is an asset. We have big things planned for him. I hope to meet up after I finish in Ludlow (love the Jacobean architecture) and Washington. His effect on Japanese sexuality was and remains incredible. By interfering with people’s sexuality you can gain great power over them. Little girls and adolescent boys loved him. And they still do. How many sodomites and sapphists were created by him? He encapsulates the best of both worlds.

Off topic: But you joined only to post this?

Yes, because I was curious about what happened to him, and I wondered if he really did go into politics after all these years and I was brought here (I first read these things about him 16 years ago when they were first posted). This seems to be the only place that still has (very meager) updates on his life.

As a conspiracy theorist, I find this information incredibly interesting. Thanks for the post. How the hell did you find it??

i remember vaguely back then that he was apparently was bullied by the other members and is part of the reason why he left (not entirely sure because this was so long ago and i cant find where i had read that)

I had a link in my original post, but it was removed. Just google “Aloysius Foszdyke”. I have been reading his posts for the better part of 20 years. I have found them intriguing (but he does come off as a vile and evil man). It is frightening to think the world is in the hands of people like this.

We do not allow politics here so the link had to be removed. However, we are more lenient about it recently if it’s Japanese-music-related political events. Thanks for your understanding.
