X Japan - on Last.FM back when they still had the artist radio feature. (not sure if that still exists today, haven’t used the site in forever). I think I was listening to either an Utada Hikaru or generic anime music channel.
Back in like 1999 or 2000 my friend somehow downloaded Malice Mizer’s Illuminati PV in like 240p and showed it to me one day when I came over to his house. I think I was 13 or 14 at the time and it spooked me.
