YOSHIKI is someone basically every VK fan knows, and he does lots of silly things that don’t really have any consequences. Scarf lady, Fxxkin spicy, biggidy bang bang, etc. It’s just the right combination of name recognition and harmless goofiness for memeing.

Do you respect him seriously for his actual music Talent?
Of course! He wrote fantastic music and he was so passionate as a drummer that it ruined his neck.
I also think he does work a lot but more behind the scenes as a producer. So I think there is a big part of his work, that we don’t see.
At least from side joking around here comes from a place of love.
And I think a lot of us here just wish projects like the last rock stars would take of and we could talk about how cool it is.

He’s very “memeable” because of the way he markets himself on social media. Everything about him feels odd compared to most musicians from his era. Like, he feels like he’s on a different planet compared to his X Japan band mates for example.
It feels like any time he (or the staff whatever) posts on twitter he’s shown on a private jet or drinking wine half naked on a crystal piano with his hair all wet… Meanwhile you look at Hyde’s twitter and Hyde basically looks homeless all the time: x.com

A bit OT but I wonder why Hyde wants to give off such a “trashy” impression? If he was american everyone would call him white trash, not something to really aim for…Does he think its cool? And of course always drinking. Always alcohol, always.
Also, an even further OT in the OT, is hyde like 155cm? He looks so small.
He’s obviously aiming for the Alice Cooper - Johnny Depp - a bit Mötley Crüe style, and have been for quite some time now. I do not think he’s look so much different from the average rock-guy, tbh.

Did his studio burn down?
My prayers are out there to everyone.
“A mandatory evacuation order has just been issued for my location in LA.

“I’ve lived in LA for about 30 years, but this is probably the first time I’ve seen such a terrible fire. Some of my acquaintances have been affected. I’m worried. I hope the fire is put out soon. I’m also evacuating.”
