" best " can be interpreted in so many different ways but i tried to stay very neutral and chose bands that are not usually my favourites ( for some of them lol ) / solo’s actual structure+epicness+beauty+ emotions rather than just " my fav’s songs ".

in a very objective way i’d say Teru and Hizaki’s solo in ascendead master
and Uruha and Aoi’s solo in Nausea and Shudder
Alice nine’s mugen-electric eden- guitar solo is gorgeous too
Merry’s gekisei is absolute perfection for the song’s theme

Here’s something you don’t hear often in a visual kei solo and it comes out so badass! I think it’s guitarist Kei that’s responsible for the latter half of the solo where it descends into feedback and chaos. I think he’s doing a dive bomb with the whammy bar. Definitely one of my go-to solos when I’m in the mood.
This entire song is a guitar solo. The lead is going off. Ruiza really didn’t slouch when it came to his solo project and you can see how this leads into the new band Redo or whatever their name is. This song is crazy stuff and a great way to start the EP.
If you want dope Versailles solos, look no further than Catharsis! The twin guitar harmonies get me every time. Pure speed metal bliss!
