Gackt has always been the GOAT of sexy hot jrockers, imo its too bad he went a bit too far recently.

I mean, he is a natural hottie.

young Gackt is insanely, outrageously beautiful. he’s always deliberately made weird faces, now he’s making more of them and it looks ridiculous, but otherwise he’s still an extremely good looking person. i don’t see how he’s overdone plastic surgery as well idk he’s also a skinny 50+ year old man guys get off his back!! :sob: :sob: :sob: gakky is perfect :disappointed:

Saw this comment and i was reminded of my mini rant about Kamijo’s smile being rather off putting :skull:

he doesn’t need to smile lol like he is handsome but the maniacal smile + contacts is too much! yes, lestat walks amongst us, we get it! :joy:

I can’t do this discussion again so instead I will make another case for why Kamijo is the prettiest of them all:

First time I see him like that, he is indeed a pretty boi.

At the moment, Miyavi and Hazuki. Looking back, Juka during his time with Moi Dix Mois and Klaha.

Also, Közi has some kind of sex appeal even though I would not consider him good looking in a conventional way. But all in all, his voice, his style, his music and just his whole vibe makes him sexy to me.

What do you guys say about this boi?

Ikemen?

I would really like to know what he would look like without the filter. Makeup is one thing, but I am really not a fan of the heavy editing in social media nowadays. What’s the point in altering yourself so much that the picture barely look like you anymore?
Maybe I am just old  But I just don’t get it.

Well unfiltered photos can indeed be pretty unflattering, it has a lot to do with light
And here comes the filter into the game, the filters equal out people’s inability to understand how you look with going lighting
:person_shrugging:

I can understand the use of filter in the sense of changing the brightness or things like that (or deleting blemishes and such).
But it seems like especially in asian culture filter that completely change the whole face, like proportions of the eyes or the chin area, are trending, leaving the person not even looking human anymore. You probably know what I am talking about, super pointy chin, huge eyes, and such. Obviously, everybody is free to alter their own pictures as they will, so who am I to judge :person_shrugging:
I just having a hard time wrapping my head around to understand this ideal of beauty. But again, maybe I am just old and I do not need to understand this

Oh he looks kinda different in this photo lol. I was like  that looks like shou… And the cat sticker looks like shishamo…:thinking: but i wasn’t sure.

I think he looked a lot better 10 years ago to be honest😭 i saw him live 2 months ago and his face was barely moving.

I don’t think it’s only Asia, if you ever skimmed through filters on Instagram.

I think the difference is shou with Plastic surgery and without
He went a bit too much off on that at one point if I remember it right

Yeah definitely. His recent face has been really, uhh… stiff? and his nose is just really unnatural right now. maybe it’ll calm down in a few years or something. He looked so good before though. I wish he never got anything done and just let nature take its course :sob:
