I just can’t imagine hes making a living on this. Streaming is making no money unless you have like millions of of listeners, no? 80,000 monthly listeners on spotify. Its for sure impressive not gonna take that one from him but does that print money? I tried to find a counter online how much he could be earning, but couldn’t. Merch?
Btw I tried the new song and sorry to say that it sounds quite generic.

Pocket money at best…but why assume he’s / must be making a living from this? For sure, dude has a day job like 90% of musicians out there.

The money of Spotify is ridiculous. This company should feel ashame. Even Dir en grey makes 422 $ a month.
I’m just curious why he doesn’t try to do concert with his solo songs.

I thought he was so cool, doing lives and stuff in japan when he was 15. (I think he’s a year or two older than me)
But I remember reading that his parents were in the music industry or something. I’m guessing they’re not poor, lol.

Still isn’t it famous that Spotify are in a huge debt, and aren’t really making any money? It kind of makes sense that they have to keep it that low because there are so many big artists out there that they have to pay. Just one example is BTS who gets $86.43K every month according to that site. There must be hundreds of artists globally pulling similar numbers. Imagine all the money that they have to pay every month in total… Must be crazy amounts.
It is insanely hard to make money on music today. Unless you are… BTS - you have to tour all the time and hope that merch sells, thats the only way to go. Or again, be lucky and go viral.
Regarding Yohio my guess is that he has rich parents.
I just saw a live performance from a famous swedish tv show and it was really cringe. He really isn’t for me 
. And hearing that he only gets $290 from his patreon, after ALL these years and all the attention he got… isn’t that a really low amount? 236 people, after all these years.
But good for him that he is able to do what he likes!

yes and no… he got a lot of generic songs like the last one he promote.
I like his song " maze of memories".
Disreign had a good potential, even if they tried a bit too much to BE VK, instead of trying to be themselves.
