The last rockstars

Eve of Destiny, one of the many projects Közi was involved. They only had one album with just six songs but I liked all of them which is rare for me. It’s also a little “goth-like” and I consider myself as part of that scene.

If anyone has recommendations based on Eve of Destiny, please let me know :grinning:

There are a few bands that come to mind fitting into this category, but the band I want to mention specificaly this time is ルルル (rururu).
They have released only one self titled mini album. Labeling themselves space rock, they played a mixture of post rock and very vaguely mathrock with vocals being reduced to a background element of sorts, smothered in echo and other effects giving them a very light fresh vibe. There is something nostalgic about this record. Maybe it’s because of the album cover consisting of collage of European architecture with a psychedelic twist to create the spacy atmosphere, but I am reminded of early 2000’s European urban landscape. More of the central to western Europe. The sound is very light, fresh and still has the feeling of being recorded by a very yound band in a garage. The songs have contemplative and melancholic vibe but never cross into being depressing. It’s a good music to listen to in a cold room or with breeze blowing around you. Cloudy day is optional. They don’t beat you with the space theme over the head but instead they invoke a bit of the urban modernism vibe. Cityscapes, vast views of a city’s skyline. This is what the mini album reminds me off, you might get a very different experience and impression than me. It’s not for everyone, consisting almost exclusively of 10+ minute songs and the less polished post rock sound might drive people off but I personaly am glad I could listen to this piece of music
