What’s your favourite band, or just a notable band that has maximum 3 releases under their own name (omnibus don’t count under this)? Even better if they just have one song!
I think ALPHON§TEIN is quite cool with their legendary self-titled tape and nothing else. Or the darkwave duo Larva is amazing too with just three demo tapes and nothing else. Very notable too is La fleur de l’ange with three amazing CD-R singles.
Gonna have to say maria cross, he is so kawaii desu~~
He makes not music but art, most people don’t get him but he is one of the best artists of all time, he passes Dir and grey and was known to collab with Beethoven and other artists on many things. He has no age that is confirmed, it is believed he was born in the 1500’s.
On a more serious note one of my all time favorite artists has to be the band Dablis!!
The vocalist has a amazingly neat voice that you don’t hear often, his voice pairs well with the music that the band plays and it is more even’d out. They have only made 3 releases and they made some amazing koteosa that you don’t hear much these days. If you ever get the chance to try them out please doo!
I really like GALACE! They only ever made one album and it is a fantastic release. Other than that they were a part of several omnibuses. I think Kaede has a really cool voice and I love their classic punk rock sound.
CASANOVA. They had 3 releases and one omnibus appearance. Their first single release, ‘VERONICA’ was nothing special and kind of sounded like a Diaura clone but I really enjoyed it.
I don’t count digital singles as release so… Envyl would be my pick. Their music is mess and i really like it. Vocal isn’t technically good but is iconic for me and makes it unique and cool.
They released 3 CDs: 1 album, 2 singles (and 2 digital singles which i haven’t count as i said)
When i should be very correct with condition in name of topic: Warumono. Just one single CD full of bangers. That’s it.
Definitely RIBBON. A short lived band that released an EP back in 2002. There was another farewell single (more of a demo really) in 2003. They seemingly started off with some traction because their vocalist Kanzaki and arguably more so their bassist Emiru (Lareine) were quite well-known at that point. They quickly imploded however when their guitarist left.
There’s a lot for me honestly. Here are my top 3 no set order. For this, I mostly looked for bands that had so potential with the releases they put out but they ended up unexpectedly disbanding:
