- 希望ト夜 (Kibou TO Yoru) by グリーヴァ (GRIEVA) is a 【獄窓】 (Gokusou) rip off.

- Their last song titled “period” was distributed at the last live and was available to purchase digitally later on. Unfortunately, it was never played live.

- All the ex-Girugamesh members participated in TRIBUTE OF MUCC -縁 [en]- as 左迅×弐×愁×Яyo in the song 五月雨 (Samidare).
- The band was back temporarily to release a digital single titled “engrave” on 2022/02/02 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of MAVERICK DC GROUP.
- 斬鉄拳 (Zantetsuken) was honorably mentioned in キズ (KIZU)'s R/E/D/ lyrics (written as 斬鉄剣). It’s a song filled with admiration as references in the lyrics for senior Visual Kei bands namely X JAPAN, DIR EN GREY, MUCC, and Girugamesh.

Wow, thanks for the info dump, felt a bit nostalgic! Girugamesh was a big thing for me back in 2007-2009 but doesn’t get much playtime nowadays anymore. But those early-ish tracks like Hollow, Dirty Blue Blood, Kaisen Sengen, Zero (clear ripoff of The Final btw), the Glamorous Sky cover etc have this pure charm of angsty teenage nu-metal…

i credit girugamesh as the band that got me out of a deeeeeep depression almost 15 years ago. their earlier music was so cathartic to me. love them
