• The song “Bombshell” by Powerman 5000 had been often used as the opening song of their live concerts in 2004-2006.
• The bassline in Sel’m’s オリエンタルリリー (ORIENTAL LILY) sounds very similar to ミッドナイト (MIDNIGHT) at the intro.
• The correct romanization for the song 枯咲き歌 is “Karezaki Uta”.
• Sadie’s 迷彩 (Meisai) and Girugamesh’s 【獄】 (Goku) have the same intro. (Goku was released first.)
• 拒絶された机 (Kyosetsu Sareta Tsukue) is the only song that’s still unknown who composed it.
• The shortest track ever is 男魂 (Otoko Tamashii) which is just 3 seconds long.
• The live dist. DVD 千名阪ツアー配布DVD is one of their secret releases.

• The band was back temporarily to release a digital single titled “engrave” on 2022/02/02 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of MAVERICK DC GROUP.
• 斬鉄拳 (Zantetsuken) was honorably mentioned in キズ (KIZU)'s R/E/D/ lyrics (written as 斬鉄剣). It’s a song filled with admiration as references in the lyrics for senior Visual Kei bands namely X JAPAN, DIR EN GREY, MUCC, and Girugamesh.

Wow, thanks for the info dump, felt a bit nostalgic! Girugamesh was a big thing for me back in 2007-2009 but doesn’t get much playtime nowadays anymore. But those early-ish tracks like Hollow, Dirty Blue Blood, Kaisen Sengen, Zero (clear ripoff of The Final btw), the Glamorous Sky cover etc have this pure charm of angsty teenage nu-metal…

I see the phrase “I want Gilgamesh to do it again” so many times. I’m happy that people feel that way, but honestly, there are times when it hurts to see those words. So I want to respond to that feeling. I want to speak in my own words. If I could do Gilgamesh again, I would have wanted to. Of course I want to do a cool band like that again. In fact, I did talk to the members. I asked them, “Why don’t you try doing it again, even if it’s just a small-scale activity?” But things are different now. Everyone has their own life. It’s not about what’s right or wrong, it’s simply that we don’t mesh well. That’s why the Budokan live show “Do you know what V-kei is?” three or four years ago was a miracle for me too. I’m really grateful to SORA from DEZERT. I still remember that scene clearly. I still want to do a three-man show with lynch. and Sadie again. I didn’t abandon Gilgamesh, nor did I push it away. After facing it properly and understanding everything, I chose this form myself. I’m not doing what I’m doing now because I can’t do Gilgamesh. My current sound is a continuation of what it was back then, but it’s something I could never have achieved back then. From here on out, I’m going to break through in my own way. Only those who can keep up should come. You won’t regret it.
