陰陽座、2年半ぶりオリジナルアルバム『吟澪御前』リリース決定
Onmyo-za has announced that they will release their 16th original album, “Ginrei Gozen”, on August 6, 2025.

Matatabi explaining what the album title means:

The title of the new album is “Ginrei Gozen.”
It means “a powerful demon who leaves chanting/singing in her wake.”
“Gin” means singing or making music.
“Rei” refers to the wake of a ship, and “Gozen” is the suffix for the name of a powerful female demon.

This album is filled with Onmyo-za’s belief that they should not speak about themselves with their mouths, but with their music itself.

There’s a counterpart-like relationship with the previous release, “Ryuou Douji,” because they contain the words “douji” (masculine suffix) and “gozen” (feminine suffix), which we used to describe the powerful demons; but this does not mean that the stories are related, but rather that they share a common will in the sense of giving form to Onmyo-za’s resolve. We are currently working hard to complete the work.
