Onmyo-za has announced that they will release their 16th original album, “Ginrei Gozen”, on August 6, 2025.

新作のタイトルは『吟澪御前』。
“吟ずることを己の澪とする強力な鬼”という意味を持っています。
“吟ずること”とは歌ったり音楽を作ること。
“澪”とは船が通った後の航跡のことで、“御前”は強力な女性の鬼の名前に付けられる言葉です。’口先で己を語るのではなく、音楽そのもので語るのだという陰陽座の信念が込められたアルバムとなっています。
前作『龍凰童子』とは、“童子”、“御前”という強力な鬼に付ける言葉が入っているところから雌雄のような関係になっていますが、ストーリーに関連性があるということではなく、陰陽座の覚悟を形にするという意味に於いて共通の意思が込められている、ということになります。現在、完成を目指して鋭意制作中です。──瞬火
The title of the new album is “Ginrei Gozen.”
It means “a powerful demon who leaves chanting/singing in her wake.”
“Gin” means singing or making music.
“Rei” refers to the wake of a ship, and “Gozen” is the suffix for the name of a powerful female demon.
This album is filled with Onmyo-za’s belief that they should not speak about themselves with their mouths, but with their music itself.
There’s a counterpart-like relationship with the previous release, “Ryuou Douji,” because they contain the words “douji” (masculine suffix) and “gozen” (feminine suffix), which we used to describe the powerful demons; but this does not mean that the stories are related, but rather that they share a common will in the sense of giving form to Onmyo-za’s resolve. The last album was released when my daughter was born, so it’s got a special place in my heart. This release coincides with the birth of my next child so I guess I’m just yokai heavy metal dad now

i actually had to clean this part of the episode up a fair amount…
The song we will be broadcasting is the second song on the album, “深紅の天穹 (shinku no tenkyuu) (Deep Red Sky).”
Deep Red Sky means a sky dyed red, as the name suggests. But not a beautiful color like a sunset, instead imagine a sky dyed a sinister red.
So, because the sky that illuminates the earth is dyed red, I think most people would get the impression that it is not a very peaceful or happy situation.
We think it’s best for the listener to interpret it based on their own imagination or their standpoint, so I won’t say much about the kind of situation we’re singing about in the song.
As for the song, the new style (shinkocchou?) of the male-female twin vocals of Onmyo-za, Kuroneko and Matatabi’s songs are powerfully and painfully intertwined, which is the highlight of the song.
So, everyone, are your hearts and ears ready?

i want to HEAR 09 鈴鹿御前 -鬼式 through 11 鈴鹿御前 -神式 , thats the only section i can tell for sure go together just off the titles yet theyre not called something like “kumikyoku suzuka” HMM

why is the demon style first. like 神式 actually has a dict definition and 鬼式 just seems like a play off that (?)
