So much for the profile stuff.

I know most of you know about the band and opinions are controverse.

For me, I never listened to any of the bands the members had been in before so there hadn’t been any expectations built upon the music they had been making before. All that I can say is that I love them to an extent I never thought would happen again. But it did.

Music wise I’ve been listening to Ryo’s previous bands a lot by now, too. I can see where some of the opinions are coming from even though it makes me love Azavana any less.
Still need to get to Ashmaze. at least, too, maybe the others as well.
Ah, actually that’s just partly true. There are two songs by BLESSCODE I’m frequently listening to and that for many years already, like I do remember that one title from C"LOW"N and that I’ve been listening to it at the end of 2000s or early 2010s already, I don’t remember it really though.

So there’s quite some history to the members and that’s why I’m creating this thread in the first place. Please share what you know about them. Trivia, incidents whatever. I’ve been looking through some stuff but there’s a lot, SNS platforms sometimes are hell to go through (e.g. Twitter and the limitations of how much gets displayed, even the search function by dates or time periods doesn’t work reliable etc.).

For example, I came across some tweets like this one from S1TK:

なにが起こるかわからない状況が多い！
だからこそタイミングが他のバンドより難しいと思います
(でもそっちのほうが俺もブチあがります)

(automatic Twitter translation:

That’s exactly why the timing is trickier than in other bands, I think
(but honestly, that’s the side that gets me even more hyped up))

I updated the first post with their discography and intend to add what’s to come in the future (didn’t include the upcoming Blu-ray because it’s not listed on their OHP and since the pre-order period is over it’s also gone from their webshop, guess I’ll add it when it’s out and there will be pictures for the cover and I don’t have to copy/paste the setlist from the actual live last year).

So on 07.06 Azavana finished their sponsored events tour 五明鏡 (gomeikyou) by a twoman with Gotcharocka. After that Ryo posted a video of a full song on Twitter, 星灯り、滴る虚夢 (hoshiakari, shitataru kyomu).
Along with that he said, that the line

「癒えない傷も美しい」 (“ienai kizu mo utsukushii” = even unhealed wounds are beautiful)

from that song was something Jui once said to him. He had been encountering Jui’s songs and music when he was at a point in life without any goals or dreams and that this made him start making music himself as well that he has been saved by Jui repeatedly since then.
Seeing them perform the song together, I think, it clearly shows how moved Ryo is.

I’m posting this here even though it’s actual news, but since it’s FC limited and I don’t think there will be a lot of people from the forum (or who find it on the forum through some search) who will be going to participate, I rather see it as some kinda tracking of what they are doing instead of spreading it through different threads that probably won’t even get a single reply.

Azavana is going on their “1st Fans Trip Tour in NAGANO” from 09.26 to 09.27.

That includes 1 night and 2 days.

Day 1:

  • 6-shot with the members
  • dinner and party with the members
  • acoustic live

Day 2:

  • visiting a zoo with the members
  • BBQ with the members

Tickets will be available through a lottery, Platinum members of their FC get a discount of 5,000 Yen.

1st application period is from 07.21 8:00 pm until 08.07 12:00 pm.

They just announced that vo.遼 will be back on stage from Monday (08.31) on, which is the final for that 二十討ち tour with XANVALA, RAZOR and ダウト. :purple_heart:

Since Azavana had been invited to MUCC’s LuV Together 2026 event today (alongside with lynch. and KIRITO, as had been XANVALA yesterday, together with メリー, D’ESPAIRSRAY and DEZERT), I’d like to share their live video (they usually post these but today’s somewhat a bit special).

To be found on Twitter, should be up at Insta in a while, too.

They just had their 2nd anniversary few days ago and I think this is such a big chance for them (as was being invited to Paris for the festival).
I’m so proud of them. They deserve to be there, I think.

When you look at the audience it seems pretty obvious that their fans are in the front row and then that’s mostly it. But the applause of the end is still so overly intense, it made my heart beat a tad faster. :purple_heart: :sweat_smile:

Does anyone happen to know why 90% of their music is missing from Apple Music?
As far as I can tell, everything is still available on Spotify, but not on Apple Music.

Nope.
I became aware, too, as more people already did.

I can say, that for Insta there’s just Q from Kaisouroku left to add it to posts or stories, everything else is gone, too (or was three days ago, I didn’t check again since then).

Alright, apparently they are aware of it for at least Apple Music.
S1TK posted about it on Threads and that they are investigating it.

Last year yeah, it was gone off streaming for a couple months. But when D’espairsray formally announced their return as a band late 2025, they put everything back on streaming (excluding MONSTERS I believe). Not sure if Azavana will do something like that but I sure hope they can put everything back; if not maybe there’s just stuff going on.

We’ll see, I guess. It’s apparently nothing they intended to happen. Even though it so far seemingly didn’t work out to fix it. Shiyuu had also posted that in an Insta story:

There hasn’t been an official announcement yet and I don’t know for the other platforms but today I became aware that their music’s at least back to be added to stories on Instagram.

Azavana interview for JaME from the festival’s press conference in Paris.

(I really don’t understand why they limit it to their French site instead of going either for an English version on the English part of JaME or going for that right away, after their were tons of people from outside of France at the festival. I understand it with a tour when focussing on that certain performance, but the festival was something different.)
