ummm lol anyway,
from a professor of medicine @ harvard medical school - I picked out some excerpts, but the whole thing is short enough by itself:
Based on the data from Wuhan, in China, there was a dramatic difference in mortality by age, with over a thousand-fold difference between the young and the old. That was a huge relief. I am a single father with a teenager and five-year-old twins. Like most parents, I care more about my children than myself. Unlike the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, children had much less to fear from Covid than from annual influenza or traffic accidents. They could get on with life unharmed — or so I thought.
For society at large, the conclusion was obvious. We had to protect older, high-risk people while younger low-risk adults kept society moving.
Among infectious-disease epidemiology colleagues that I know, most favour focused protection of high-risk groups instead of lockdowns, but the media made it sound like there was a scientific consensus for general lockdowns.
Twitter censored a post when I said that children and those already infected do not need to be vaccinated; and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) removed me from a vaccine-safety working group when I argued that the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine should not be withheld from older Americans.
this is funnier:
On January 12, 2021, the Brazilian Ministry of Health tweeted to its 1.2 million followers not to wait with COVID-19 until it’s too late but “go to a Health Unit and request early treatment,” only to have Twitter take down the official public health pronouncement of the sovereign fifth largest nation in the world for “spreading misleading and potentially harmful information.” (Early treatment is code for Ivermectin.) On January 31, the Slovak Ministry of Health announced its decision on Facebook to allow use of Ivermectin, causing Facebook to take down that post and removed the entire page it was on, the Ivermectin for MDs Team, with 10,200 members from more than 100 countries.
In Argentina, Professor and doctor Hector Carvallo, whose prophylactic studies are renowned by other researchers, says all his scientific documentation for Ivermectin is quickly scrubbed from the Internet. “I am afraid,” he wrote to Marik and his colleagues, “we have affected the most sensitive organ on humans: the wallet…” As Kory’s testimony was climbing toward nine million views, YouTube, owned by Google, erased his official Senate testimony, saying it endangered the community. Kory’s biggest voice was silenced.
it’s currently being considered as a part of treatment regimen in the UK:
which gives me hope that the psychotic vaccination propaganda will subside once pfizer sells out their currently produced stock/some other iffy industry tea will bubble up in the meanwhile.
Bret Weinstein had an entire podcast talking about this, which YT removed. He and his brother were on clubhouse discussing this for a bit, so I heard a little about what they had to say there, in addition to checking out the actual podcast.
All I can say is this type of shit does not surprise me at all. Ppl can call me anti-vax or whatever the fuck they want, but nah, I’m just anti-injecting-myself-with-experimental things lol. Ppl can do whatever they want tho. I ain’t been sick once since shit whole shit started - and for that I give all praise and credit to The Most High.
at this point I literally don’t care what anyone else would attempt to shame me into believing by coming through with witty insults of my intelligence or negligence or whatever else they would pick on the given day - I source my covid news from scientific, heavily filtered publications, and happen to only get non-cited opinions from people who actually have at least a decade long work record in healthcare, most of them have more.
no one cares about pfizer/gates vaccine racket, no one cares about $1++ billion outright stolen by Trump for a syringe facility that never got built, no one cares about smaller businesses that never survived the lockdown and the growing re-corporatization of the economies, no one cares about pharma cronyism reaching new highs, but shaming uncomfirming opinions for being outside of the “stay the fahk home u biological mutants!11” spectrum gives so much dopamine apparently it’s the single most important thing to insert ASAP the moment one gets in the conversation on this subject.
the ongoing outright wiping of criticism coming from officially recognized organizations that suddenly lost their credibility over a single novel flu thing literally should raise the question why any critique is not even being met with either facts or independent prognosis anymore.
Ya know, it’s very telling of the type of mindset ppl are labouring under when someone simply says they don’t want to take the vaccine and clearly explains why…then someone else comes along and disparagingly tosses around the term “anti-vaxx” as a perjorative.
People that do this should probably ask themselves why they’re so offended at someone else’s ability to think for themselves and make their own choices. Furthermore, why are they concerned to the point that they become visibly agitated and moved towards shaming and provocation?
Honestly, ever since the beginning of this whole ordeal I was amazed at human stupidity, and even now, I keep being amazed at it.
Of course, we have to protect the elderly - protecting the elderly is exactly what it’s all about. However, a) protecting the elderly isn’t enough, because if we just accept that the young will be ill and spread the beast, surely it can mutate into something horrible for everyone, and not accepting this possibility seems to me like experimenting with biology and, subsequently, human lives ; b) the elderly often take care of the young, so yeah, their children may be virtually immunized but they will go home and have dinner together and spread the fucking virus ; c) and some young people are immunocompromised - it’s not just the elderly who are at risk. Ffs what’s so hard about saving lives. Why can’t humankind be a little more respectful and considerate (in general).
Again, I can’t really do anything when people choose to be asses - if my opinion mattered I am pretty sure the world would be a dramatically different place.
I sure as hell hope ivermectin is an actual gamechanger. However, empiric data isn’t showing that in any way. I’d love for it to be effective but experience is NOT showing me this. But of course, seeing as the world is DAMN KEEN on making me, as a survivor from a developing country (I won’t say “citizen” because: honesty.), a biological experiment in any way it can - sure as hell I’d rather take a vaccine and not risk murdering anyone from my family because I have to go to work instead of taking some worm medicine and PRAY that it’s somehow effective against an influenza-like virus. But, like, I have nothing against people who don’t want to be vaccinated. I just have a LOT against xenophobic assholes who act like I ain’t human because of where I was born.
Praise to The Most High or whatever the fuck I don’t care
Got my single dose liquid travel pass. At least, my vacation won’t be borked by two week isolation.
… And that’s all. I would be more excited by a vaccine that cures my hay fever, but alas. Maybe someone is eager to chew some dandelions and spit on other people, so we can accelerate the development of this particular cure?
Mostly indifferent to both parties (for/against this cocktail juice). It’s their life and choices, not mine. Just don’t shove them down my throat, that’s all.
You’ve made your stance crystal clear, and I understand your frustration from that standpoint.
However, that doesn’t change the reality that people are simply going to approach this pandemic differently than one another. That’s just reality.
You’re free to think that your perspective is the “right” one and that those that don’t subscribe to the same beliefs are “stupid”. That’s your perogative. But no amount of passive-aggressive insults is going to change that reality.
Me personally, I operate by an uncommon standard. Now if you’re interested in hearing or learning about my perspective, then cool, we can discuss that privately or elsewhere, but I’m not going to derail this topic by expounding on my beliefs.
it is actually used in the same cases mRNA technology touts itself as a breakthrough, i.e. zika.
I don’t want to delvey my way into deconstructing of your emotional state over this matter because honestly that has been already addressed above, and I have nothing to add because I’m mainly using this thread as a place to talk to @ghost on the potential consequences of vaccine coercion with a specific set of vacc producers. it’s not my blog, nor a place to talk about antivaxxers in general.
This wasn’t personally against you since you didn’t try to offend me in any way. ( However, someone else here did. )
Just, I lost my grandma in this whole ordeal and this most high doesn’t seem to like me a lot. Where I live people are acting just like this - they praise their deity or whatever because they’re doing fine even though they’ve been irresponsible and people without a good health can die for all they care. I am tired of this discourse too. This is why I said “dark ages” before. It’s really just like the dark ages, burn some and praise the deity because you’re not “some”.
So, fuck it and fuck everyone while we are at it.
Also, before I forget, I do think it’s stupid to be unable to see that if young people are infected and young people live with elders of course the elders are going to be infected as well even if they’re working remotely and not leaving their houses. I don’t get why people pretend that this isn’t true somehow. I’m all up for discussing facts but this, too, is a fact. I’d rather believe people are stupid than murderers so I go with that.
shrug I can’t go around translating articles, can I ? They did this already to a town around here to no clear results. I could refer to someone talking about this in Portuguese but I’m not gonna bother. All I am saying is that I’d rather take a vaccine than worm medicine.
Don’t bother trying to “deconstruct my emotional state”, I’d much rather deconstruct yours.
Yeah. Thank you so much. Like, my mom passed away 9 years ago so my grandma would take care of me on her behalf. So I’m very much not okay, and I feel kind of guilty for what happened because even though I did my best against COVID, I still wonder if I messed up somewhere. My boss thought people who weren’t working locally weren’t working, basically, so I had to go work locally and was harrassed a lot and my job is quite risky.
It’s related to child welfare so I know a lot of poor children who are taken care of by their grandparents. I know if these elders die they will go to foster care and it’s so bad here. But of course some people don’t care because to them elders “should die anyway on behalf of the economy” and they can’t really see how important for the economy it is for them to remain alive despite it all. So, I keep seeing these things… and words can’t really describe how much I hate all of it. So I guess things get really jumbled and heated on the inside for me. If I don’t say anything, I feel like that’s just letting it escalate further. If I do, but my discourse isn’t good because I’m angry and shaking whenever the topic comes up, it’s no good either. But some things are downright wrong/misleading, so I end up saying it anyway. Even though I’d rather not pick a fight, sigh, but I’d hate keeping quiet even more.
Okay everyone,
it’s alright to share your opinions on the covid vaccination and such, but do not shove up/force your beliefs to someone who has a different opinion on it. There’s no need to change someone’s mind who doesn’t want to.
It’s alright to state any information regarding the vaccination process and such, but let’s try to stay calm and friendly okay?
I respect everyone’s choices and their opinions so please follow my example
True. Besides, our country (BRAZIL) is the proof that hydroxychloroquine/invermectin didn’t work as their promoters have claimed. Half a million people are dead, basically it’s rare to meet someone in Brazil who didn’t lost a friend or a family member to Covid, so fuck the data/articles that someone mentioned.
I’m not a doctor but it doesn’t sound like rocket science to me: it doesn’t work. Half a million. Dead. In a country that have been making so many efforts trying to promote those medications as early treatment during the pandemic.
About the vaccines, maybe it’s our last hope. Idk how it’s going to be. We’ll get the results in a few months and check if the death toll is going to fall or not. The fact is: hydroxychloroquine/ivermectin fucked Brazil up.
I am sorry to hear about the pressure you are currently enduring. Thank God I’m self employed, because there’s no way in hell I’m taking a rushed, experimental wonder-drug that my corrupt genocidal government is incentivizing, coercing and bribing our population to take at all costs.
In the past year I’ve witnessed my country (Canada) become a police state, depression and suicides increase by an immeasurable amount, friends and families turn on each other like never before, and the crippling of our economy through small business closures—All costing more lives than this ‘deadly pandemic’ ever could.
I don’t know how anyone can possibly think these corrupt, organized criminals care about our health to begin with. If we look deeper into their histories, they ALL have ties to eugenics movements and believe there are too many of us.
This entire show has been an exercise in complete totalitarianism and it is by no means over. Stand your ground, and never be ashamed to listen to your conscience. If it sounds like shit, and it looks like shit, it’s probably shit.
Fuck the government. (And fuck companies that don’t allow their employees to have personal choice)
hey can anyone link me quality info about increased suicide rates because of lockdown/covid intervention? I know it was something everyone in my profession was concerned about, alongside increased self harm, but early findings I read in the lancet and other medical journals such as the bmj this february/march? found that suicides actually hadn’t increased, not only in the uk but in us, sweden, canada, australia, and others I can’t recall off the top of my head. big exceptions being japan, and Maryland having decreased suicides in white people balanced alongside increased suicide in black people. I’ve not been hugely keeping up for the past couple months though, so I’d be really interested in taking a look if some new studies have been done!
