D’ESPAIRSRAY - RAPTURE

Unfortunately, that’s a bad idea :slightly_smiling_face:

I wouldn’t say for 100% that it’s the band themselves, anybody can buy views and we know how crazy some fans are. But it’s also a prestige issue so in most cases it’s probably them. Sadie got 1 million real views on Meisai but Rosario was stuck at sub 100k, so the hype faded pretty quickly. Then Jealousy got heavily pumped…

Before it wasn’t just bots and the videos were shown to actual people who were doing this to get amazon, google play store credits you could get some fans maybe, but now it’s 100% fake views.

20k views are from me alone. I purposely play the song on YouTube instead of YT music hahaha  :wilted_flower:

I know this is a bit off topic but I wouldn’t be too quick to claim they are bot views. Based of current information, their old videos have a lot of views around that range which proofs they have a decent size fan base. Plus they are returning from a near 10+ year hiatus. This is their first release activity since that time.

I can understand views spiking at first then lessening over time since they haven’t been as active plus this is only one single not embedded into any album.

Not entirely saying that your wrong or not. Maybe they did buy views not sure. To me its too early to tell from my perspective. If you believe its bots then thats fine. No worries.

If you watched their others popular music vidéo, the ratios between views and liked, are still logicical. I think you are a bit underestimated the popularity of the band. It’s just not many people gives likes.

Love is dead : 400 K views / 2700 likes

Redeemer : 338 K views / 2200 likes

Even much more popular bands don’t usually get that many views in a month, but they get more likes :slightly_smiling_face: Those older videos gained their views and likes over many years, and people used to leave fewer likes back then.

Sadie had a real comeback effect. Possibly, in such cases like D’espairs Ray, bands use paid promotion through Google Ads. But it’s not very effective, considering how specific the visual kei audience is
