I’ve never felt so emotional from a damn Instagram post in my life. I can’t believe it’s actually happening. I wish I could go back in time and give my 18yo spoilers from the future “yes the future isn’t too bright, but if we don’t die we get D’espa as a little treat“

New music!!! Perhaps :eyes: :sob: :face_holding_back_tears:

If you’ve been a D’espa fan as long as I have, the ED has already set in long ago. All the power to ya, bro. Whatever gets it up!

Re-recordings? New songs? Both would be marvelous

I would expect new music. It doesn’t make sense for re-recordings since Hizumi’s voice has in a way changed since the 2000’s

I wouldnt mind them going the Sadie route and releasing a remake album so people can hear how Hizumi sounds like now

Personally, after hearing him on NUL. I don’t think he sounds too different. But I agree, I’m excited to hear how he sound with some retakes

picture this: i’m 16 years old. my parents won’t let me monopolize the internet for 9 hours to download this one (1) album. i need to apply to colleges but i’m procrastinating. everything is serene and i don’t have to worry about paying for shit like car insurance. life is good.

I was 14, moving from PA back to NY, and this album gave me life. It’s nice hear that it affected someone else like this, too.

Y’all gonna kill me. But it wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized I hadn’t skipped Infection, thinking it was just a typical album opener. Dawg, I just let the album play one day and I was mind blown…

You’re not alone. My 16 year old self wanted immediate gratification, so I’d always skip Infection and go straight to Dears and Grudge. As an older, seasoned listener, I really appreciate the slow build and burn of Infection these days. So damn good.
